I have eventually bought Halocam C1 Plus which is now fully operational, with its OBD power source its the best and easiest solution to suit my needs. I encountered a couple for teething troubles at first but with support from Joice, who has delivered five star service, all have been overcome and working well. It's now a test of how long it will continue to work. I'll update accordingly.

The picture was clear, but the interface with the phone a bit tedious.As it sets off the alarm a few seconds of locking the car, and all the electronics for the GPS are in the ODB connector, and the fact that I don't need the diagnostics. I have wasted my money.

I was disappointed that this unit died after a week as the image quality was quite good.

I've had a few other dash cams but no where the quality of the halo dash cam .Very helpful customer support. I would highly recommend purchasing the halo dash cam
