Devo: The Complete Truth About De-Evolution

DADAESQUE DEVO
Intrigued by Devo in the 1970's but even though into Dada and Surrealism I am almost ashamed to admit it I didn't appreciate their deep intelligence until quite recently, previously seeing it as gimmicky when it doesn't really fall into this category because it stands on a far higher plane. Blown away by this DVD as it is immensely impressive and incredibly humorous, the band being so good musically, conceptually and performance-wise. Lots of extras to entertain one and garner inside knowledge of how it is all hung together.

Definately recommended. So catchy. Only complaint is that some great singles are missing and that some videos are to alternate versions of recorded tracks. Buy their albums, they have done so much more.
