Excellent for the price and outstanding customer support
I have used this mat walking the south west coastal path and also motorcycle touring in France and am very pleased with it. The first one I had developed a slow leak, but I contacted the supplier on a Sunday and they sent a replacement out the same day, so I would say you can buy with the confidence that if you are unlucky enough to get a bad one, it will be replaced.Excellent combination of thickness, weight and pack size. You can choose how hard or soft it is by how hard you blow it up.My only criticism of it is that it is quite slippery, so there isn't much friction either between the sleeping bag and the mat or the mat and a groundsheet, so best not used on a slope or you will slide off. I would love it if they could put a few dots of high friction rubbery stuff on both sides. On level ground I had no problems either bivving or in a lightweight tent.

Perfect for late spring / summer camping in UK
I was sceptical that a sleep pad which costs a quarter of the branded equivalent could keep me comfortable at night but I was wrong. I'm a side sleeper which means I need a bit more comfort under my hips to sleep well at night. I struggle to sleep well using traditional camping mats and self inflating mats. But this mat has surpassed my expectations, it's less than half the weight and a quarter of the bulk of my 20 year old thermarest self inflating jobby (it's similar in size and weight to can of baked beans).I would caution, however that it won't keep you warm outside of summer months. It's not insulated and you can't rely on your sleeping bag to provide insulation when your weight compresses the filling. You can extend this pads capability from one season to three season by the addition of some other form of insulation between yourself and the ground. I use a cheap roll of 'insulated foam mat' available on Amazon which can be cut in half as it's only necessary to insulate under your torso. The combined weight and cost is still less than a self inflating pad.In summary - great option for summer campers and occasional spring / autumn campers with addition of some other form of insulation. But look elsewhere if you're serious about cold weather camping.

Excellent customer service, great product, make sure it works before heading out.
Update 2. So after getting a new mattress it's clear the first one was faulty as this one does stay inflated. I kept it inflated for 2 days straight just to be sure and it does hold the test. As for the actual review of the product - The mattress is very small so it barely takes up any space in your bag. It takes just a couple deep breaths to inflate and folding it is very easy which makes for a quick going to bed/packing up routine. The mattress itself is comfortable to lie on (I'm 180 cm and weigh 75 kg). I'd recommend this product with a warning to try the product for one full night before you take it out on a hike. Seems from other reviews that some products indeed are faulty but nevertheless you'll be sure to be greeted by quick and hassle free customer service if it is. Happy sleeping out there!Update 1. After voicing my bad experience with Jökel on their Facebook messenger chat service, they were very quick to respond (minutes) and issued a refund. Additionally, they reached out after seeing this review and offered to send a replacement product. This type of customer service is absolutely excellent and I'll update my initial review from 1 star to 3 because of that. Once the replacement product has arrived, I'll make another update of the actual product.Bought this for my 2 week hiking trip to Iceland and was quite angry to find out the mat could not stay inflated for a whole night's sleep. For the first 5 days out on a hike I could not sleep more than a few hours before waking up freezing due to lying directly on the cold ground in the tent. As a result I caught a very bad cold which stayed with me for the rest of the trip and ended up buying a new sleeping mat on Iceland. They seem to be quick to refund however but I would still not bother with this product.

First Impressions: Excellent. Functionally - Very Poor!
**Update - I have since received a response from Jokel and I must say the customer service is second to none. An apology for what seems to be an anomaly, and a replacement product being sent out immediately. I will endeavour to update further with future use of the mat. However in the interim - well done Jokel!**On receipt of this product I was instilled with confidence. It was packaged very well and appeared a very professional product. I inflated it straight away which was very easy, as was packing the product away after use. It has a handy stuff sac and was looking forward to using it on my bikepacking trips. The first 2 trips since purchase in March were great. Very comfortable nights sleep on both trips and was very pleased. However I have just come back from an overnight bikepacking trip having had an awful nights sleep. The mat deflated during the night with no obvious leaks to speak of. In fact on my return home I checked the mat with again no obvious puncture but did spot some minute leakage around the valve itself.Very disappointed as had planned to take this away for a weeks trip in August. Just not reliable at all and am so glad to have made use of this prior to the week long trip planned.Considering how long I have had this product and how much it has been used I would advise anyone looking to purchase to stay away. Going by some other reviews it would appear to be a common issue. I am yet to receive a response from Jokel directly and will update accordingly should I do so in the coming weeks.
