Amazing glove that I would recommend to everyone. Practical and ideal and is fit for purpose. Hygienic as you can remove the inner glove and wash. So safe for heat from an oven and boiling water.

These are great. I’ve had other silicone gloves before, but the added liner really helps protect your hands from the heat. The liners come out for washing.

These are great oven gloves. I have a pair myself and wanted to buy another as a gift.I was a bit surprised though to receive only one glove in my order (the plural ‘gloves’ in the item title suggests there will be two!).Wonderful gloves, but there could be a little more clarity in the item description.

So much better than other gloves.The inside can be washed easily in the washing machine, and the outside is silicone, so pretty easy to wash up.A big plus for hygiene and durability.

These are expensive but totally worth it. I can hold a hot baking tray for ages with these and don't have to worry about part of my hand being exposed as it fully covers me. Great grip and soft interior also.

I had the first generation Orka mitt and this improved design is much better - much more control with more flexible silicone, with the addition of the soft fabric removable interior. The first generation mitt stood up on its own but this one (contrary to what the picture leads you to believe) does not, but I stuck a plastic hook on our end cupboard in the kitchen and it hangs nicely from that.

My technique is to put this on my left hand, and have a tea-towel in my right hand. (I am right-handed.) Others may choose different approaches.With very hot objects, the heat can be felt but never became uncomfortable.My disappointment is that the thumb part has simply split across on the ridged side – across the full width. This makes it relatively unsafe to use. I have had the mitt for four years and used it a fair amount. But I only cook for the two of us, and not every day at that.Have to say, I didn’t notice the split until I felt a dish felt hotter than expected. Being in the inside of the thumb, it was not immediately obvious as I picked the mitt up for use.I do not believe that I have been particularly harsh on this mitt.So, two issues: Not happy that the failure occurred at all in a fairly modest time for domestic use. And not happy that the failure could have resulted in a burn. (It did not. I noticed before that happened.)Just got a new one as I couldn't find anything else I'd prefer. Initial impression is that the silicone is very slightly less flexible - but in the good way, it might last better.
