This is really messy to use, and my dogs disliked either the taste or the texture, as even when I offered it initially without a pill inside they spat it out or refused it outright after a quick sniff.

This product is amazing! My dog has a heart condition and needs to take medication twice a day. It’s half a pill for each dose. Regular pill pockets are so big for this purpose, while I’d save them and try to portion them out, this product makes it so much easier. My dogs also love the flavor! I give a little pinch to my other dog as well, so he’s not left out on a “treat.” I have not noticed a bad smell from it and the texture is perfect for pills. Some products I’ve used before can be too oily or crumbly. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and have not noticed any side effects from my dogs. All in all I 100% recommend this product if you need to give your fur baby some medication. I’m so happy I found this product to use!

It’s very hard to give my elderly cancer stricken dog his meds. For tablets this made it easy. Not sure how it would work with capsules that he can break into when chewing. For those I don’t think this will work well. If he tastes the medicine he won’t eat the disguise for weeks after. I have a lot of methods to get medication into my dog and this is a good one.
