The gave this 4/4 paws plus one tail.
I have a bunch of these. They do sometimes stop because the battery can be disconnected from the sheer torque applied by the motor as they scurry around, but we have tons and I've only had to repair one (battery came unsoldered) after constant use.I asked the cat what he thought about them, and he just tapped me on the leg to get me to turn it back on again. I tried to get him to focus on the question, and he just stared at me like I was some kind of fool for asking. He also threatened to stick his whiskers in my ear at 3AM if I didn't give in to his playtime demands. True story. These have a grippy silicone/rubber sort of casing that gives them good traction, and these are charged with a USB-C cable. Most of them just zip around, but some like to also flip back and forth repeatedly in between zips. I am always amazed at how well they get out of spots that seemed to stop them / capture them / restrict them, but they are not AI -- just good general programming. This also lights up, which is nice, especially when it runs under the furniture and you can see it before you have to go looking when it takes a rest period (or stops from that 'run').There are complaints about the battery life, but the battery is tiny to fit in the housing, so it's not going to last like a small pink bunny supposedly did.I also found, if you're handy at repair, that a drop of hot glue on each battery wire on the circuit board provided extra mechanical connection and kept the wire in place. They would be better if the battery was socketed, but I'm not sure many people would use that design feature so it's probably a waste of resources. If anything the one problem is that the cat clearly has an addiction now, but he's more insistent at demanding stimulation in general of any cat or dog I've known.A fantastic cat toy for our little buddy.

Fat lazy house Floof loves it!!!
This toy was an instant hit with our fat lazy house Floof. It instantly engaged his brain and his high prey drive. Love that it’s rechargeable and that it had charge right out of the box. Max play time about 15 minutes on high speed about 30 on slow or what we like to call wounded prey mode. Also love that it goes dormant after 5 minutes if the cat looses interest.Does get stuck quite a bit and it picks up hair balls but it’s easy to unclog and send running again. The tail is quite fragile to chewing but is easily replaced with feather options or new tails.

Very easy to break
My cats love it. I bought the double pack. One ran until out of juice and will not recharge. The other one, tail came off of both and protective cover broke in half on one. Using the cover for the one that won't recharge now. Love the toy...just needs to be sturdier somehow.

Not worth the money
These toys lasted 2 weeks. One cracked and the motor on the other died.

Instant attraction
My kittens love this. They will play, chase and grab it and run away with the other kittens following behind. I'm buying another one today because the only drawback is the original didn't survive a dunking in the water dish. After sitting in the water dish for a while the battery life slowly diminished from it. Good news is they still occasionally play with it even though it's dead.

Definately Worth It!
The Speedy Tail 2.0 has been a fantastic way to get our two adult cats (ages 5 and 6) active and playing. It's especially great for cats who tend to be a bit sedentary. We've only had it since yesterday, but they've already spent over two hours chasing it! This toy would make a wonderful gift for any cat owner or a great way to encourage your own cat to exercise. The Speedy Tail 2.0 navigates our home's mix of hardwood and ceramic floors with ease, even transitioning smoothly over small rugs. One minor improvement for future versions would be to address the issue of hair occasionally wrapping around the axles. However, this is easily cleaned and doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment.

Clever, but noisy
This is kind of a neat toy. It charged quickly and looked fun. It is pretty noisy, with a loud whirring sound that horrified my cat (Charlie the Moose) so much that he played with it only tentatively at first. Not that he is used to the noise, Charlie plays with it more. It’s less noisy on carpeted floors than tile. The ball abruptly changes direction and wiggles it’s tail like a squirrel, which capture my cat’s interest and keep him chasing. It is pretty fast, which is also great for a busy kitty who needs some exercise. I find myself looking around for it a lot—it will stop moving after a few minutes and that turns my cat off as well. It would be great if it would turn itself on when nudged by a cat.Overall, it is worth it. It is fun and challenging and gets my Charlie up and running. Just wish it was a little quieter.

Cats 🐈
They worked as shown in the add, but they didn't like them. I don't think it is the toy , it just my cats are junks. My three-year old granddaughter likes their toys more than they do.
