Edit: Its not worth the money, still issues with it turning on by itself, I'll place my finger on the on and off switch and it changes brightness or doesn't even register that I've placed my finger there. I've had to disconnect it and remove it from my desk. Waste of money, I feel like I've been ripped off.Overall it's a good light but if anyone elses is like mine, merely touching or knocking the light will turn it on and or adjust brightness. Touching any part of the light will turn it on, not just the button. It doesnt work the way it's supposed to, probably a wiring issue.

My daughter love the Teckin reading light, it is tiny and can be clipped to the headboard or side table.The light from the LED is comfortable for long read, there are 3 light intensity which is adjustable by just touching the base where the red power led is located.Since it is a low voltage LED light there is no worries of kids touching the bulb and burn accidentally.We will be looking to buy another one for my son next.

A really excellent and well-made product. Comes in a simple cardboard box with minimal, recyclable packaging and includes options for mounting it onto a wall along with the included clip, which is large, strong and sturdy. The instruction manual is clear and concise, and written in a range of languages.The neck of the light is very strong, and is easy to move but stays in place firmly. It has a sturdy metal construction, like the rest of the item, that gives a sense of quality. It could be a little longer, but it is more than adequate as a reading light or desk lamp.The light is very bright, and has a nice white tone. I was surprised by the brightness - in the picture it's on the minimum setting! But this is a very welcome feature, as it lets the light act as both a nightlight while turning the lights off so you don't trip and fall on the way back to bed, as well as a book light in bed. Because it is an LED light it hardly heats up at all, making it safe to use in bed.The controls are easy to understand and even simpler to use. A tap on the base will cycle the light through low, medium, high and off. The lightest touch from any side will activate it - very useful if it needs to be mounted upside down from a headboard - and only a finger will activate, so touching it with blankets or a book won't do anything.Overall, I'm very pleased and impressed, and I would happily recommend this product.

Really does the job unobstrusively clipped to a bookshelf alongside an armchair. Neat in appearance with the three light intensities at a finger touch. I am elderly with glasses and the three settings provide choice for the most comfortable use, with the flexible arm long enough to direct the light where it's needed.. No fussing with batteries or rechargers, the mains plug ensuring the light is always ready to turn on. I am very pleased with it.

As with my experience with other Teckin products, the desk light is another great purchase. As I'm in the process of modernising my house, I wanted something that would fit with the new aesthetic. I also wanted a new bedside table reading lamp, something adjustable so I could use as a full lamp in situations but also dim when I'm winding down.The box was plain and simple, straight to the point, which is nice. Opening it up, there was only a few bits of plastic packaging, which I'm grateful for. Too much polystyrene in packing these days!The desk lamp and clamp is one whole unit, strong and robust. It feels like a quality item which given the price is surprising, but what I've come to expect from Teckin products I've had in the past.The clamp is covered in foam to product the item it's clamping on to, perfect as my bedside cabinets are solid wood and I don't want to scratch them at all if I can help it. The clamp does feature a hole so you could wall mount the lamp, turning the clamp into a holder of sorts, I won't be using it that way but some may. Perhaps a clipboard for the office/study? The cable for the unit is about 2m long so quite a long stretch so powering shouldn't be a problem.The base of the lamp is touch sensitive and when touched will activate the light, it has three light levels, low, medium and high. The high is very bright for the small 4w power consumption, it will effectively light up the whole room if pointed in the correct direction.The lamp can be moved and bent into any shape without concern that it's going to fall apart. The neck appears to be very well built and robust, hopefully it'll serve me well for a long time.Very happy with the purchase, cheap and cheerful and will fit in well with the new modern home. Might buy another for my office!

Amazing lamp. It is just what I wanted. it is very light in weight but it certainly does the job. the hanger is very resistant and it stays where you put it without any problems! I was a little bit afraid about the light density but.... AMAZING. it igves you the perfect light to read or even work from bed. Powerful light but without getting into your eyes. Very quick delivery. i strongly recommend it!

We bought two of these in separate orders. I thought the issues with the first were due to a child's misuse but now know better.The main issue is that they won't turn on and off properly. The button is not a real button but more like an image on the device. On the first lamp, it was 50/50 if it turned on and off when requested and my teen would wake up with it randomly on. On the second one it's even worse - it has a mind of its own. It either won't switch on at all or it won't switch off. As a bedside light, it's useless as you have to get out of bed to pull the plug!We are sending the second one back. I'd send the first too only we have thrown out the box.Utter rubbish. I'm off to buy a replacement with an actual button operated on/off switch.
