Ashley Furniture Signature Design - McKenna Coffee Table with Storage - Cocktail Height - Dark Brown

The SOFA TABLE arrived on time, undamaged and all the parts were included. This was the easiest item I ever assembled. (Four legs and a shelf and I was done). The SOFA TABLE visually appears to be far-far more expensive than it actually is. I have received several complements on it. The table encasement and legs seems to be sturdy. (To resolve that little table wiggle after it was assembled ...I added felt protectors to the bottom of the legs). The bottom shelf is made for light weight items (only). It is not sturdy at all. Overall ...I would say this SOFA TABLE is a good buy in its price range. I ordered a second one. It should arrive sometime after this Friday. I will set the two SOFA TABLES next to each other. Over them I will hang an Oversize 73 inch Ornate Dark Wood Wall Mirror by Intelligent Design (I ordered and received from Amazon). The color of the wood matches perfectly to the SOFA TABLE(s). The 2-SOFA TABLES will be separated by 2/3 of an inch when they set next to each other (due to the SOFA TABLE rim). The beauty of this item is truly overwhelming.

The sofa table is beautiful. No denying it - it's lovely. Great finish, beautiful detailing. The multiple textures (the metal inlay and leather(?ish) straps) really add to it and make the sofa table really stand out. If you are one who appreciates aesthetics you will love this table. The drawer is made of real wood, which is nice. However, the rest of the top of the table seems to be made out of some pressed wood or particle board, which I found to be disappointing.When we received this item it did have some minor cosmetic damage to it, a bit of the apron in front had been chipped and one of the corners in back had a small crack. Nothing too big and we love it anyway. My guess is that the delivery guys weren't too careful with it.Still, even knowing that it's not all real wood, and it being damaged on arrival, I would so buy another one of these. It's just too darn pretty not to.Some information that I had a hard time finding before I ordered the product: the distance from the bottom shelf to the bottom lip of the apron is 18 inches. There is more room under there if you have something tall, especially to the most left and right where the drawer does not extend. The drawer is 24 inches wide, 6 inches high, and 13 inches in depth.

This is an absolutely beautiful table! Perfect for the decor in my living room. Sadly, it arrived damaged even though the shipping box was in perfect condition. Three of the four bottom corners of the table were crushed. Attempts to contact the manufacturer for a return have been useless. Not even an answer or response to many calls over three days. I hate posting a review like this! Very disappointing. Have furnished almost my entire living room now with Ashley pieces. This will be the last one. Brand new table damaged before it was even shipped, but shipped anyway??? Not very pleased.

I've used this table for more than a month now. It adds an interesting accent in a corner area where I couldn't figure out what to do. It's now a focal point with a "Spanish" style that compliments the pen and ink European art above it. It is an eclectic look that I love.The top portion looks intricately tooled with leather "straps" while the lower shelf would be good for showing off special items, but I'm going to get a glass shelf made to cover the lower shelf since it is slats and not solid.It was easy to put together alone. I'm an over 60 woman and put it together in less than an hour. It was a great price in the mid $200's and a quality piece. I'm very pleased with it.Shipping was a bit slow, but worth the wait.

This coffee table arrived TOTALLY BROKEN - I have called the support number for Ashley Furniture several times, and just on hold FOREVER, no one ever gets on the line. I have emailed Ashley Furniture, per their other contact instructions, and NO REPLY.WASTED hundreds of dollars - totally dissatisfied.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. I bought even though I read the reviews about people experiencing damage upon receipt.My luck was as usual and I received a damaged piece. My choice was to ship it back. It would have been near impossible to re-box this item. It was chipped in the top right corner. I decided to keep it and try to hide it. What I will not do again is buy another piece of furniture online.

I ordered the coffee table from a local store here in Texas and really wanted to purchase the matching sofa table. Unfortunately the only one left had a 'sold' sticker on it and they manager at the store was uncertain when they would be getting more...if ever. Found this one online, actually a tad cheaper than in the store with free shipping! Anyway, the table comes in 3 packages and is very easy to put together, and is incredibly sturdy and solid. One FYI when putting the bottom shelf on, it almost appears that the item is not going to fit properly, but the brackets actually swivel nicely allowing it to fasten properly. This actually stumped me for about 3 minutes trying to figure out if I had done something incorrectly.This is a beautiful sofa table, and if you purchase it I am sure it will last a very long time.

One side of the top slides too easily. Cats constant open it when they jump on it. It opens by accident all the time in use as well. Overall... its a nice table, but the top is not at all inconspicuous as I would like it to be. It is a little too obvious how it opens and the doors have a slight twist to them when closed... like the slide mechanisms are a little tweaked. If they had used better slide hardware, this would have been worth a little more money IMO, and it would have gotten 5 stars. I may try to replace it with some really nice hardware in the future.The build quality otherwise is very very good. Came pre-assembled, only had to screw legs on.

I like how this table looks, but it got delivered with damages. Solid wood and it has great look, I am happy with the purchase, although it has damages.
