Q: Would you use it on cv joints ?

I'm no mechanic but I would not use a copper grease for CV joints. Use grey lithium-moly grease. Copper grease is fine in places exposed to water where it's good to have a residual coating of copper when much of the grease is washed away. Things like the backs of brake pads - and all bolt threads.

No found it works great moisture areas like gearing near water or water gets in hedge trimmer gearbox trailer wheel bearings

Q: Will this be good for a old metal lawn mower

Unless you are into serious car mechanics don't buy this grease. This tin contains a lot of grease. Try using a bit of motor oil, use it frequently. Can guarantee you that either a friend or neighbour will have some hiding away in a corner of their shed or garage. If there are greasing points on the mower and you have a grease gun, motor oil will work in it.
