Small but decently powerful mini PC
I got this as I needed to run a lot of scheduled programs that I didn't want to keep a Laptop running all the time for. I contemplated using a Raspberry Pi and this and realised that with Raspberry Pi, after including the HDMI cable, SD card, case etc. it would end up being 110-120$. At the same time, this at about double the price is a much more powerful processor and includes Win 10 Prof. The product was shipped with a keyboard and a mouse which were useful though I would have preferred a lower price and ditching those. The internals could be accessed without any tools and I had spare RAM that I could use and upgraded this to 16 GB. The machine is fast, silent and sits quietly on my desk next to the docking station. It is quite inconspicuous and I never hear the fan or any other issues. I would have considered this a dream item if this was about 50$ cheaper but had no OS, Keyboard or mouse. Still, it is quite a good investment.

I've purchased multiple HP 800 series mini-pcs over the years
I've purchased multiple HP 800 series mini-pcs over the years and they have all been great at their given tasks. For instance, two deployed at the moment are: - Running a 24/7/365 Twitch stream (Music videos, been going non-stop for a year now) - Feeding calendar/photo slideshow/security cam to multiple monitors in our home These little PCs are great and can do most anything you throw at them, within reason. They are clearly not meant to be gaming computers, but will easily run low end games like Minecraft, browser games, NES/SNES/Sega/PS1-3 emulators, etc. They are built for office work, so you could use it as an actual workstation until the sun burned out. Pros: - Tiny, easy to hide behind a TV/monitor or in your utility room as a server - Solid material and workmanship - Reliable, very set-and-forget capable Cons: - None, yet

Really good basic pc for a great price
For the price this mini pc can do all the basics. Even play some older games but nothing too recent or graphic intensive. I bought it for an older family member who was just learning how to us a pc and it worked out well. Loads quickly pretty quiets. Does get a little warm with prolonged usage. Came with everything needed to get up and running. It came with win 10 a the time been using over a year and still no issues. Has built in sound card as well.

Great system
I've worked with these before and decided to buy my own. It's a great system for home or office and is small, light, and quiet. It's expandable with both an M.2 slot and a SATA connector. It worked great from the start. The only draw back is the ram. 8 GB of ram is great for most uses but if you don't want to add more it will be hard to find as it seems to only take DDR4 2133. I tried some 2666 I had on hand and it only errors out so I looked up the specks online from HP and it only lists 2133 bus as compatible. Other than that it's a really good little system.

Great little PC for a refurb!
Works as expected, was clean and the fan was replaced which is the main concern I had...original fan would have been bad. Adding a Samsung Evo SSD made a nice improvement but it did have a Lexar 256 GB installed, RAM is fine and it does an excellent job as an HTPC for my son.
