It's been raining a lot lately, so the rocky, steep part of the mountain was wet. As I was descending, I slipped on a large wet rock and slammed the back of my calf on the ground. I got up, not thinking much about it until I felt the stinging sensation on the back of my left calf. I discovered a large scrape that started bleeding pretty heavily after a minute. I immediately dug into my kit and pulled these wipes out to clean the wound. They worked great, and I was glad to have them in my pack. They are moist, heavy duty and large enough to do the job. I came home and immediately refilled my hiking IFAK with three of these. I'll likely end up stashing a few in the car and in my home gym as well. I cut them in half to make them last.
