Review: Works great! Insert batteries and go. - When the original remote for my Samsung TV started failing after almost 8 years of use, I started searching for a replacement. I've found that Universal Remotes seldom work as well as the original and don't support all the functions. Not so with this Samsung remote. Apparently, Samsung has used the same IR signals for each TV function since 2012 and ALL functions are supported. This Universal Remote has many more buttons than the original remote (one of those minimalist designs with a circular wheel to navigate all the menus) making it much easier to change channels and access many of the functions. There was no need to program the remote; just put in the batteries and point it at my Samsung TV and it works!
