Great machine
Great machine! Especially like the crank wheel adjustable table. There isn't a lot of oscillating action, but helps the sanding belt last much longer. Lots to do to assembling it and it's heavy! So far the adjustment for keeping the belt centered works well. Quiet and dust collection by our dust collector works well.

JET PRODUCT QUALITY AND TECH SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE, DON'T BUY
JET PRODUCT QUALITY HAS TURNED TO CRAP!. PURCHASED ONE JUST LIKE IT 26 YEARS AGO, STILL WORKING GREAT. WE THOUGHT WE WOULD GET THE SAME MODEL AGAIN AS TO HAVE THE SAME SIZE SANDING BELT. AFTER ASSEMBLY, THE MOTOR DIDN'T EVER START. WE CHECKED IT OUT, THE MOTOR IS SHORTED TO GROUND, AND BLEW THE START CAPACITOR. CALLED TECH SUPPORT AT JET, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN CARE. THEY SAID TO SEND IT BACK TO AMAZON. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER JET PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.

Essential tool for a full shop
An edge sander is essential for my business. When my 20 year old Powermatic sander quit working I replaced it with this Jet. I'm pleased with its features, especially the rigid housing, which is an improvement over the Powermatic. It does make belt changing a little slower, though. Overall a good tool.

Best purchase ever
I’ve owned one like this for years and sold it when we moved. I built my new shop and purchased this. It’s improved this one and am excited to use it. I love this sander. One of the best pieces of equipment I’ve ever had.
