I switched to using co-wash a few years ago after deciding that my usual daily shampoo-and-half-a-bottle-of-conditioner routine wasn't cutting it for my hair anymore. I've tried a few different kinds, but there aren't many in my price range. With the last one I used, I was able to work myself from daily washes to every other day, but any longer still left the roots of my hair oily and my scalp still itchy. But it was affordable enough and worked well so I kept using it. Then there was a several week period of time it became unavailable so I had to look for a substitute.Enter Head and Shoulders Royal Oils, during a desperate scouring of my local Mal-wart hair care shelves. It wasn't $20, it was a co-wash, and it was there. Sold. Over a year later and I'm not going back to my old co-wash. (The only thing I miss is the smell of the other one; I like vanilla mint more than the smell of this, but that's a personal preference rather than a negative. This still smells really nice.)My hair definitely feels softer, my curls are nicer (as long as I don't over-rinse, I can get away without hair product and only have minimal frizz), my scalp isn't itchy anymore, and I've been able to start going at least 4 days before my hair starts needing to be washed, which was unthinkable a year ago.Experience has taught me that just because a hair product works for a lot of people, it won't necessarily work for me but this definitely does.

Update 3/11/23 - I contacted P&G and was informed that they have discontinued the co-wash. I am so disappointed. This co-wash is really helping me.Original review - I love this co-wash. I used it once and I was really impressed with the results I had, but I just can't leave good enough alone and I tried a new conditioner I had wanted to try. Sadly, the result I had seemed like I inadvertently gave myself a severe case of protein overload. I decided to try to cowash again on my next wash day 9 days later, and I feel it really did add much needed moisture to my hair. I read some reviews that said it wasn't as moisturizing as the reviewer expected, so I added a bit of my diy hair oil to it before applying. 9 days later, and my curls still look and feel very moisturized and my hair smells really good, too. I honestly wish I had found this product much earlier.I gave myself severe protein overload with a keratin treatment I didn't really need, and I've been struggling with my hair for the four years since then. I've been having a problem keeping my hair moisturized, and this co-wash seems to be helping a lot. I ended up having to buy in bulk on ebay because the price on Amazon more than doubled right after I bought my first bottle, and I'm worried it will be discontinued. I sure hope not.

My scalp is sensitive and super dry. My hair is super fine. I use this on my scalp, add another rich conditioner for my hair and let it sit on my hair while I finish the rest of my shower. It's one of the few that doesn't make my scalp break out and it smells so nice! I love using this.

This product has been an absolute Godsend for scalp psoriasis.Ive tried everything, but my scalp was perpetually dry, itchy, scaly, and flaking. My hair also looked so dry. I tried every moisturizing and psoriasis shampoo and everything seemed to not do anything or make it worse.The very first time i used this cowash, i saw and felt a major difference. Now Ive been using it for weeks and i have not had one flake, my scalp feels like it has moisture for the first time in maybe 10 years, and my hair is looking shiny and healthy again!!!Im seriously thinking about buying 30 bottles in case they ever discontinue this!! Im so, so happy to have healthy hair and scalp again!!!And it even smells good!

Me gustó que trae un poco más de producto que el resto de co-wash que encuentras en el mercado pero lo sentí ligeramente pesado en mi cuero cabelludo. Huele muy rico y cumple con limpiar el cabello, solo no fue el indicado para mi.
