Pearls Gets Put in the Pokey: A Pearls Before Swine Treasury

This book like all PBS treasury editions has about 18 months of daily strips which are extremely funny. The author adds comments on many of these strips which are very entertaining. Stephen Pastis always deliverslots of laughs and this treasury is great fun to read.

Stephan Pastis has turned out after all of these years of wonderful comics to be my favorite, and I eagerly await every new book. I am only about halfway through this one and it is a good as all of the others. If you like funny, semi-sarcastic wit, I urge you to give him a try. He is so funny, and in his treasuries, you get comments on every other strip or so. I can tell you what underwear he prefers (at least a couple of years ago), that he cannot draw with the tissue sticking out of the box, how he gets around comic censors (shhh), and other funny facts about him. Enjoy!

I have every one of the "Pearls Before Swine" treasuries! Stephan Pastis is definitely in my top 3 as far as comics go. The "Wise ass on the hill". Love the character. Not sure how that made it past the "comic book censor" lol!

I love the Pearls Before Swine comic strip.This is the 14th "Treasury". I have all of them. I haven't read it yet, but I will do soon.
