BICTriumph 537R Roller Ball, Fine Point (0.7 mm) Black Ink, 4 Pack (RT57P41-ASST)

Wish I could give this pen more than five stars. So easy to write with.

Pen is fine but Amazon said they delivered it but I did not get until the next day.

I'm a finicky hand-writer. You may not share my preferences, but I can sketch out the characteristics of this pen so that you'll know what you're buying.THINGS I LIKE1. Clean, thick-ish line with some "oomph" behind it.2. Non-needly tip.3. Pen is long enough to brace in the hand with or without the lid attached4. Ink flows smoothly5. Cheap enough I don't care if i lose 'em.THINGS I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT YOU MIGHT1. Ink dries fairly slowly, so if your writer's palm drags across your text...it will be an issue.2. Ridges and notches...they don't hit anywhere sensitive on me, but I've seen enough variation to realize that this is fairly individualized.3. I haven't tried this pen on a plane, and I don't travel hardly at all these days...but I do recall that pens like this have leaked horribly when I've tried using them in the cabin.

I teach 7th grade language arts and I dabble in daily journaling. I use only two type of pens: these Bic Triumphs 537R's and Flair medium points. The roller ball is smooth and never leaves a blank spot. The ink does not smear or stick to the underside of your hand. It makes writing more enjoyable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the top shaft seems a little flimsy and sometimes feels like it is coming unscrewed.Melissa

I like a pen with a larger writing tip, even though it says it's "fine".....and this is it. It has a very smooth feel and ihas become my favorite pen. It would be 5 stars if it were indelible, but it isn't. I just wish it weren't quite so expensive. If you get it as an add-on to another Amazon purchase, they are quite reasonable.

I don't understand why this item received an average of only 2 stars. I loved it so much when I first tried it that I searched high and low in stationery and variety stores for more -- to no avail. I finally ended up doing an internet search and purchased several packages so I won't run out. I find that a pen that moves smoothly over the paper is so much easier to use, especially if taking notes during a lecture.

I was expecting this pen would write smoothly. I found it to have a thick ball point and it's not smooth when writing. In fact, it's so thick it smears as you write.

I love these pens! I got one free from a business and ended up decided I needed to order some for myself. They produce a nice, dark line and hardly ever smear. I'll be purchasing more!
