Conclave [DVD]

I loved it!. Loved the book as well which is only slightly different from the film. Stories about conclaves are always wonderful, at least to me. I'm old enough to remember the canopies above each Cardinal's seat. When a new Pope is chosen all the canopies save his are lowered great trust at the end.

Great movie! Sorry it didn’t win best picture!

This excellent depicts (fictionally) the politics and realities of electing Pope. There are standout performances by Ralph Fiennes (Oscar winner), Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow and Isabella Rossellini along with strong supporting cast. It has a surprise ending. Conclave is well worth the watch.

Really strange ending

Great movie about the Pope's replacement. Suspenseful and the ending does not let you done.
