Really clear to read and smooth to deal - but more costly than the classic Waddington's decks
I like using these - They are standard size cards - so your "muscle memory" isn't upset in use and they are smooth to deal. The key point of these - is that they are very clear to read (and yes they are) - so there are no mistakes when you fan the cards or as you tire as the evening wears on. Larger lettering/numbering however means you have to fan your cards wider, which some fast flayers may not like.Good playing cards cards are expensive - but these seem durable with a smooth plastic coating and they have a nice "spring" in them to help shuffling. These are £7.99 for the classic red/blue twin pack. The "big-brands" to match are Waddingtons Number 1 £4.10 for a red/blue 2-pack, or Bicycle £7.42 for the basic red/blue 2 pack (you can pay loads for fancy "picture card" decks, but I'm not comparing those here). Is the extra worth it? Well partly 'yes' - they are the right size, the print is very very clear so these are easy to read (helpful for Bridge games that go on long into the night) and they deal well. The key will be in the playing, to see if they last a lot longer than the classic British Waddingtons brand ones. So I'll see how they avoid getting the creases, grubbiness etc vs the Waddingtons Number 1. If they fare worse I'll be back to update this review....and to complicate the choice - if you play seriously, you'll wear out cards over time and so buy in bulk and UK Amazon offers a 12 deck pack of Waddingtons Number 1 for £18.95, a price that is really hard to beat as it works out £3.16 for a pair of decks, or less than half the launch price of this brand. These prices are what I found on Amazon Nov/Dec 2024; do check these as prices can change fast with the competition on Amazon.

Decent playing cards - shuffle well
These are a decent set of playing cards (x2), the printing is of high quality and they shuffle well.I also have an automatic card shuffler and it has no problems whatsoever with these - I experienced no jams whatsoever.I think the price is right, while you can buy cheaper the quality of these cards warrants it.

Lower quality than branded cards but lower price too
The cards are printed well with all images and patterns clear and sharp. They shuffle well and have a textured finish. Each pack comes with two jokers. The only negative for me is the thinness of the cards, they are noticable thinner than the branded cards I have, they are not thin enough to affect use but may mean they become damaged sooner. Two packs for £8 feels like good value for money to me. An equivalent double pack of branded cards is about £13.

Nice
Two packs of pretty decent playing cards. Nice finish to them which I think will make them durable. Extra large print - if that's useful to you but it doesn't stop anyone from using them.Good value considering the quality.

Two packs of playing cards with enlarge numbering.
Two packs of standard playing cards with enlarged numbering. The playing cards are decent quality. They shuffle well and can be wiped clean. The benefit of the enlarged letters and numbers is minimal, but is not a negative. Reasonably priced.

Large print playing cards, perfect for seniors or anyone with impaired eyesight. You get two packs, with contrasting reverse colour. I particularly like the gold.
