For those of us the like to grill year round, its time to start figuring out how we can work in the dark and that is where these NESSTU rechargeable magnetic grill or work lights come into play. They are very bright LED's on a flexible goose neck from the base that contains the replaceable rechargeable battery that can be recharged from any standard USB charger with the included cable. There is a very strong magnet that allows you to mount the light to any ferromagnetic (steel) surface. The set come in a nice little plastic case with egg crate foam packing to store the lights with a lanyard to attach it to a hook or handle. There are no instructions with the lights, but on the web page they tell you to remove the insulator disk by unscrewing the battery compartment before trying to use the lights. I think one light will be more than enough to light up the grill area and I will probably use the other one in my shop as a work light. These lights appear to be very well made and should last many seasons.

Lights are bright once charged and love the flexible arm! The magnetic connection allows you to put the lights wherever most convenient on the grill. Keep in mind if you put the lights on your grill lid, they get dropped down every time you close the lid, so we've been attaching our lights to the base of the grill. They come in a convenient plastic case for storage. Note you have to unscrew the bottom of each light and remove the paper protector before using. After first charge, one light worked well, but the other would only light if plugged into the outlet with the charger cable attached. Finally got it working by turning the light on and then slowly unscrewing the bottom until the bulb lit. Must be a finicky connection. One drawback is there is no charging light indicator letting you know when charging is complete. There is a faint green light at the charging port, but it seems to stay green all of the time when charging. Also, the port covers are a little loose and pop open sometimes. Once you get them working, they are really useful for evening grilling or whatever you can connect them too, a huge advantage for the RV.

These handy flexible flashlights have a strong magnet on them so they can secure to many things. Though we original got these for nighttime grilling, they're incredibly useful for auto work too! I love that they're rechargeable, and they're plenty bright. I wish that they were a tiny bit smaller, but I suppose I'd be sacrificing brightness and/or battery life. I think this is a great gift for anyone.

I've tried everything but I can only get it to work when it's plugged in. Useless

Grilling during the day is no longer enjoyable when the temperatures are 100 degrees or above. I now do my grilling when the sun goes down and it is much cooler. My patio lighting is designed for nighttime ambience however, not for determining the doneness of meat, for example. I have used a battery operated, hand-held flashlight to illuminate the grill and check the status but this is a much better solution. The light is much brighter, needs no batteries and doesn't have to be handheld. The magnet is surprisingly powerful.Also a great gift for guys who enjoy working on cars.
