Bakery On Main Kosher Bulk Granola Box, Blueberry Flax, 352 Oz

I love this granola. I was getting it at the store, and decided to go for bulk. I vacuum sealed most of it in smaller batches. Don't do what I did and take all the air out though. Some of the granola punctured the bag and broke the seal on the first two I did.Per the one bad review, yes this granola has rice flour in it. This is gluten free granola. If you know how granola is made, you'll realize that something has to replace the wheat flour in order to bind the granola together when it is first baked. I am appreciative of having a healthy, good, gluten free choice for my morning. I mix it with yogurt, it is very good.The one thing I will say with regards to this over the store packaged is that there seems to be way less dried fruit in the bulk. So much less that I thought at first they forgot to put it in at all. But there are some in there that I eventually found. But that fact is it is about 25% of the cost of buying the small bags in the store, so I will give them a pass on that.

I've bought some bakery on main stuff a few years back and liked it then, that's why I trusted that this would be good. Told my wife, the price on this is .25 per oz. Looked at some blueberry 360 organic from whole foods, price was over $1.00 per oz! Wife was a little surprised when I told her I'd bought some granola and this 25 lb box showed up! But she's been married to me for 30 years so she's used to my surprises. Kinda... pretty... sweet. I'm sure it's right on the edge where if they made it less sweet customers would say they need more and others would say need less. Taste is about an 8.35For .25 per oz, this is GREAT VALUE, and a solidly good granola.

product tastes great. packaging has some room for improvement. Product is excellent, shipping was on time, I will buy from this company again. I gave it less than 5 stars because the inner plastic bag was outside the box when they taped it for shipping, The tape covered the protruding plastic bag and when box was opened, the inner blue bag tore and spilled the contents, the balance had to be repackaged. Quite inconvenient and time consuming.The company needs to make sure the inner bag is not protruding the box and taped over.

Like others have said, this is a little heavy on the puffed rice. It is improved DRAMATICALLY by buying a couple pounds of walnuts, pecans, and roasted almonds, chopping them very coarsely, and adding them to the granola. Add some dried cranberries, cherries, or blueberries, and you're getting close. This granola is more of a blank canvas than something you eat every day by itself.But all in all, I'd prefer a little less rice, because I really do get a very puffed-rice taste that I would rather not have. Totally edible (unlike another of my bulk purchased amazon granolas that felt like it was going to shatter my teeth and my dog couldn't even get through the giant whole dried strawberries) but not something that I'm gonna come back for seconds on.

I love granola and yogurt, granola and almond milk, granola snacks, etc. So, I signed up to have this almond vanilla granola delivered to our home and I may have to speed up the delivery frequency. My whole family is now eating what I thought only my son and I was going to eat. It is GF, DF and very tasty. Exactly what the co-op carries and a whole bunch of it comes to my house by the gallons. It can't get any better than this!

Update below ...We love the maple quinoa GF bulk granola. When we went in to buy it Amazon was out, so I had to order vanilla almond. I had had a sample a while back and it was good. However the granola that came seems burnt and has a TERRIBLE aftertaste. Not a fan. I reached out by email to bakery on Main with no response. This surprised me.Update... this is NOT how it’s supposed to be and bakery on mains Customer Service has been Amazing!! I truly appreciate their awesome staff and our customers LOVE this granola too!

My whole family LOVES this granola!!!! It's the only cereal we eat since going gluten and dairy free, and we eat it several times a week! This is my 4th box. I do need to mention that the first box I got was torn during shipping, but we decided to use it anyway. And one box had about 5 burnt chunks in it. But I've always been one to shop deals and seconds, so if you can deal with a few imperfections this stuff is awesome!!!

The box arrived quickly, and cereal was fresh. I've shared it with my friends who say they liked it, too. Extra seals up well in a freezer bag for later consumption. It also mixes well with nuts and dried fruits for a personal flavor preference.
