Daredevil by Chip Zdarsky Omnibus Vol. 2

The physical build is solid overall, pretty much what you expect from a modern Marvel omnibus. It’s big, but it opens well without fighting the spine, and the paper quality is decent even if it’s not anything premium. Feels sturdy enough for a book this size. Where this really stands out is the mapping. It’s put together in a way that lets you read everything straight through without feeling like you’re missing key parts. It also includes the main event tied to this run, which is honestly a big plus because it saves you from having to pick up a separate omnibus just for that. If you’re mainly into Daredevil and don’t really care about events in general, this volume already covers what you need. As a reading experience it’s still very strong. Maybe not as consistently sharp as volume 1, but easily above average compared to most current runs. It works well as a closing volume and doesn’t feel incomplete.

Great omnibus

Daredevil is by far my absolute favourite comic book character. I read it as a child in the sixties and still do. Since marvel knights the daredevil story line has improved dramatically, and this story arc is no exception. Elektra taking on the daredevil mantle, the kingpins determination to take down the entire superhero community and the final push to destroy the hand leads to a breathtaking climax and what a surprise ending it is. Love this book
