Colourful, bright and packed full of facts, this is a great book to dip into. There are no contents, or sections, you just open any page and discover something interesting. So, if all the dead people on Earth came back to life as Zombies, how many would there be compared to all the living people? What superstitions do other countries have? What is the loudest noise ever heard on the planet? What is the most popular colour? Plus lots, lots more.I would probably recommend this for children of 7+. Although it does not take a long while to read from cover to cover, it is great fun to dip into and my daughter and niece absolutely loved it. It is certainly a book that they will come back to and is very entertaining and beautifully designed.

I bought this book for my nephews to keep them entertained throughout the half-term and they loved it! They are 6 and 8 and delight in calling me up to tell me then next wierd fact! 69 babies born to 1 woman! Wow! Great book

Great book! As I was reading it to my daughter I found myself taking a lot from the book as well. Full of great information and very entertaining.

Our 7yr old daughter loves this series, keeps her occupied reading factual snippets. We have three in the series, I didn't realise that they are printed in different size formats though so don't fit perfectly on the bookshelf!

This is a fantastic book kept my daughter (7) entranced for most of Christmas day and also the adults too!! Will now be looking for more on the series
