This dinnerware set is perfect for a first apartment, college dorm setup, or in a travel trailer. It’s compact and comes with everything for four place settings. It also is very sturdy and reusable wheat straw. I saw it was listed as bamboo.The serving pieces are smaller sized, like the bowls only hold 10 oz. and the cup holds 8 oz. The plates are 8.75-inches and the tableware is 7-inches. All 24 pieces fit in a box that’s 9 ½ x 6 ½ inches. Perfect for small places and they’re acceptable serving sizes, especially for picnics or lunches.On the product page it shows them going in a dishwasher and microwave oven. There are symbols on the bottom of the bowls and cups but even enlarging them on my phone, I couldn’t see whether they could be used in either of those circumstances. I wrote the information on the box since I’ll store the set in the original box. It also says it’s heat and freeze resistant and it’s obvious by the feel that they’re durable pieces.For the sturdiness of the pieces, I think they’ve got a lot going for them. The price is really reasonable and they take up almost no room. They’re going to work out for us quite well.

Absolutely loved this wheat straw set of plates, bowls, cups and utensils. Really nice color as my home is decorated in a minimalist style and these just went perfect with the esthetics but can also definitely match any other style/decor. Set is also perfect for both adults and little ones due to the material dinnerware is made with. The only reason I gave set 4 stars and not 5 is because they do trap odor, when I serve certain meals on these I have to wash plates / utensils really well.

These are simple but look really nice in my open cabinets. They are high quality and dishwasher safe as well.

I have stopped using this dinnerware set for one main reason.Firstly, let me tell about its key qualities which is absolutely a good quality and usage of all good materials in its making. It does hold and does not change its shape even if we pour some hot soups or hot dishes are served in them.I do like its color and the sizes of bowls, plates and spoons are perfect.But the only thing I dislike is its staining part.. I mean I wash it properly and then keep it for drying on my dish rack. The next morning when I check it, I see dust sitting on it. The material is such that attracts dust and is visible.So if kept in shelves for 2 days unused the dust will be seen on it. So that becomes a problem and hence I have to wash it every now and then in order to use it.

I like the material of this set. Perfect for little kids since they cannot break. They look great and are easy to clean. Perfect gift for house warming party.

This is a good-quality dish set made from sustainable wheat straw. Wheat straw is "plastic made from biological materials rather than fossil fuels." It won't break and is quite lightweight.My plan is to use them in our RV. There are 4 plates, 4 bowls, and 4 glasses. The plates are accented with ridges around the raised rim which looks decorative. The bowls and glasses are plain.These can go in a dishwasher, microwave, and freezer.The bowls are not large, but they are fine for my uses, like a fruit mixture for breakfast. The glasses hold less than an average coffee mug, so they are not really a substitute for tea or coffee. They are fine for a glass of water, juice, or soda.The plates are not as large as the ones we usually use, but that will help my weight loss plan. If my spouse wants a larger serving, he can fill his plate with a second helping. I probably won't use the utensils that came with the set. They are elongated and a bit strange.

I'll admit I was skeptical when we first got these. They felt very light, and I didn’t expect them to last long. However, after several weeks of use, they’ve held up well. Despite their lightweight design, the plates have ridged surfaces that support food without collapsing. They've withstood multiple microwave reheats and dishwasher cycles with minimal wear. They still sit flat and haven’t warped. It's impressive that they're made from organic material. Plus, everything is durable, making them great for picnics and outdoor events.We did notice some spaghetti sauce stains on a few plates, but they came clean after a few washes. Like with other plastic storage bowls, plastic wrap doesn’t stick well to the surfaces. The cutlery is slightly better than typical plastic knives and forks.

I hate the thought of using plastic, but I needed something that wouldn't break and that didn't weigh much.I ordered these and I couldn't be happier. They are just what was advertised.As others have noted, I don't recommend using any sharp knives on these.Also, I ordered the white, and just in case, I don't plan to use anything like red sauce or curry. nothing like that with this set.
