Good headband, could do with an option to buy a spare battery.
This is a replacement head strap for the Quest 3 and has a built in battery to extend your play-time. I bought this a few weeks ago and so far I am very happy with it, the battery forms the back pad for your head and connects to your Quest 3 using a USB C cable that plugs into the charging socket on the left side of the quest. It has a dial on the back to tighten or loosen that is very easy to use and gives a lot of increments to get the tension just right. It is better than the head strap that comes with the Quest 3 in every way. The strap was pretty easy to assemble and fit although getting the top strap into the little slot on the top of the headset was pretty fiddly. The top strap does, unfortunately, leave me with a sort of inverse mohican in the top of my hairstyle but there's no real way to avoid that - I did try to do without the top strap altogether and, while this is feasible, the top strap is a very handy carrying handle and, without it, the headband overall is quite uncomfortable because the whole weight is being supported by front to back tension. I didn't notice this too much paying standy-uppy games but I tried wearing on a 90 minute mission in DCS and it left me with a headache. With the top strap on and helping take the strain it is very comfortable. My only gripe about this head strap is that you don't seem to be able to buy spare batteries for it. The battery lasts for a couple of hours or so and takes quite a long time to recharge so having a spare battery on charge while you are using the one on the headset would be very nice. I am not entirely sure how well the battery would stand being attached and detached to the back of the head band without the little swivelly lugs breaking so this may be why there is no spare battery available but it would be useful. So far I have not played for so long in a day that the batteries on both the head strap and the headset have run down but I could see it happening. Overall, I would recommend this head strap, it is comfortable, good value for money and the extended play is nice.

Great fit, value for money and really does extend playtime.
The strap and battery are a great addition to the Meta Quest 3. The strap itself is easy to adjust once fitted - follow the easy instructions to install correctly. The battery adds so much more playtime to the headset. I've used mine from the first day of purchasing my Quest 3 and it feels as if it is part of the proper kit. Feels balanced and comfortable when in use. It is worth noting that if you wish to use a docking station for your Quest 3 it may not sit in the dock with this battery pack installed. I can dock mine, but the balance of the helmet in a dock will change due to the weight of the battery and extended size. So, some support is needed. The colour matches the quest well. A must have purchase if you really want to enjoy your VR helmet.

Quest 3 Head Strap: Ultimate Comfort with Game-Changing Battery Life
This Meta Quest 3 Head Strap has transformed my VR gaming sessionsโit's incredibly comfortable, significantly reducing pressure on my head and face, even during extended play. The built-in 6000mAh battery genuinely delivers around 3 hours of extra gaming time, giving me far longer sessions without interruption. Installation was easy, and the ergonomic design balances weight perfectly, eliminating previous discomfort issues. My only small reservation is that it slightly increases overall headset weight, but honestly, the comfort and battery boost easily outweigh that minor issue. A must-have accessory that dramatically enhances the VR experience!

Transforms comfort, battery could be stronger.
What I loved: The comfort upgrade is massive. This strap makes the Quest 3 feel way more balanced, and long sessions donโt leave my forehead feeling like itโs been headbutting a wall. The build quality is solid, easy to adjust, and the padding is surprisingly nice. It also looks great โ makes the headset feel more โproโ and less โtoy.โ What made me sigh loudly: The battery works, but itโs not quite the powerhouse I hoped for. It does extend playtime, just not as dramatically as the listed capacity might suggest. Still helpful โ just temper expectations. Should you buy it? Yes โ if you want comfort first and a bonus battery boost, this is a great buy. The added playtime is still useful, and the comfort difference alone makes it worth it. Much better comfort. Nice design. Battery is decent, not amazing. Would still recommend โ especially for longer VR sessions.

Very comfortable, very good value and sooo much better than whatever crap they include by default on the quest. Seems to be good quality and a lot more stable now (I can actually look down without the headset falling off my head)

Honestly this is truly amazing. Bought one for myself and my husband and they make the meta quest a completely different headset. They are so easy to assemble. They are so comfy we no longer have the pressure at the back of our heads like we did from the original strap. The size is adjustable which is so easy to do. Functions exactly as it should. The cost for them is amazing, you would expect Meta would sell these standard with the models given the cost of them. Would highly recommend.
