This is a great topcoat. I use it for shine and hardness. It’s very inexpensive but works Great! It doesn’t peel or chip and lasts a long time.

Economy drug store product, not high gloss on natural nails, dries quickly but short-lived finish
I purchased the L.A. Colors base/top coat back in December 2025 as it was the least expensive option and I only needed it for a single use and in a hurry. It worked fine for my purposes. I used it as a top coat for a specialized nail set and it was beneficial for that use providing a shiny glossy top coat that was relatively easy to use. That specific use didn't require a long-term commitment, which is a good thing because this polish doesn't last very long. Since I had the rest of the bottle to use I decided to use it on my own natural nails and while it initially looked okay, once dry, and it dries quickly, the gloss was duller and less shiny than I would have liked. It also began to chip and fade in less than a week. The polish itself is of an acceptable thickness and covers reasonably well. Overall, while it works okay for such an inexpensive polish ($2.00 at the time I ordered it), if you expect too much from it, you might just be let down.
