If so how much and how often?** A: Yes this can be added to water, according to the directions on the side of the container. But the amount depends on the animal’s weight and water consumption. Directions on my container says to add 4 drops per 25 oz of water and shake to mix. It says scatter 8 drops to food daily - if you choose to add to food instead of water. But it says for best results, contain your vet. **Q: Does this product contain xylitol?** A: The ingredients don’t show it. I’d stick with fresh greens as they are better for vitamin C and aid in digestion. **Q: What's the difference between this and the other oasis guinea pig c drops selling for much less (with free shipping) on amazon?** A: Some of them are a multi vitamin with vitamin c in them and this one I believe is just vitamin c. **Q: Do guinea pigs like the taste? Is it flavored?** A: I have two piggies and this is the brand they seem to drink more readily. It is not flavored, but if you dilute it as specified the taste is not that bad.
