These bags are thin and were easy to break through with little strength. However, if they are biodegradable as advertised, then the thinness makes sense. We used these for a day when we could not access a bathroom and it held up and did not leak. The bag is long, deep and wide enough for a 5 gallon bucket portable toilet.

Being as these bags are supposed to be for portable camping toilets, they should be more durable. As you can see these are very thin and you could see my hand through the bag. I have ordered other camping toilet bags before and these particular ones that I have now do not compare to the others. All of the ones I have ordered in the past are biodegradable, and although these are "okay", these seem to be the thinnest.

I got the toilet popup shelter thing to use here at home the next time our power goes out.We've had times with extended electric outages, and it's bad enough at the best of times. But when we were without it for days, and when the water is affected too.... not being able to flush the toilet gets old real fast, especially in the heat of the summer! So the only other choice is go to the gas station down the way...yuck!So I'm handicapped and my mom only has 1 kidney, I needed to do something so we gals can take care of business here at home! So we have 2 enclosed patios, nice and private...if needed I'll set it all up on 1 of them. I'll use pine shavings for absorption and odor control... they're cheap, work well and biodrageable. And if we need to use these they'll get changed quickly, so not worried about longterm odors/flies...I really don't have any other experience with these type of bags, but they seem ok. This product works exactly as described and is very easy to use. I do recommend getting the Lugaloo seat and container for added convenience, as trying to hold it open with two hands can be awkward and unbalanced, potentially leading to unwanted splashback. The bags fit perfectly and are thicker than other ones I've tried. Simply tie them like a garbage bag, and they hold up well. While the bag is spacious, keep in mind that feces isn’t odorless. If you're sensitive to smells, you might want to manage expectations—adding extra bio gel powder or a layer of kitty litter may help control odors.
