Great micro shredder
Great shredder but unopened envelopes less than 10 pages thick when folded sometimes get stuck. Press the reverse and forward buttons a couple of times finishes the shredding so it doesn’t bother me.

This thing works.
I like that this shredder is a name brand. It also does an excellent job of shredding, papers, cardstock, CD's and other thick items. Our initial test has proven that it functions as advertised and basically i am really happy we got this shredder. I did order another brand, that was more expensive, but this does a much better job, and in the past hour is happily sitting by my desk like a loyal pet waiting to be taken out for a walk.

RETURNED!
Just bought this gem on sale at Costco (sorry Amazon). It is going back IMMEDIATELY. YES, it shreds finely. YES, the pull out bin is AWESOME compared to my old shredder. Those are the only good things I can say about it.First, I had to leave it outside for 3 days for the likely carcinogenic stench to dissipate. Next, the opening is virtually exactly 8.5 inches. Anything put in there MUST be placed carefully. VERY time consuming when shredding a lot of documents. The shredder is quiet but within a few uses was making a horrendous screeching sound telling me it will NOT last! One batch I fed into it (I shredded old tax returns) got stuck for some unknown reason. There is NO WAY to life the guard over the maw of the machine. The instructions say to pull on any paper sticking out to clear a jam. WHAT IF there is not enough paper to grab? I had to reverse and forward the machine at least a half dozen times before it cleared itself. My old shredder allows for lifting of the guard. EZ-PZ clearing of jams.All in all, I am returning it and searching for another machine with a pull out bin!

The best shredder I have ever owned. Powerful, very quiet and large capacity bin. Well worth the money.
