Ridgid 1/2 in Spade Handle Mud Mixer Drill (R7122)

This a review about the Seller Midwest Tools...I brought the Tool and tried to register with Ridgid for a LSA (Lifetime Service Agreement), Only to be told that the LSA is not offered if you bought the tool from Amazon....not pleased with the response from the seller ....THEY SHOULD LET THE BUYER KNOW THAT THEY(buyer) would NOT be eligble for The LSA if brought from Amazon...

Have to spin the chuck to get it to work... then it throws sparks... new out of the box! Or maybe someone’s return... get that a lot in Alaska knowing it cost to much to send it back :(

This drill is a work horse. This is my second one. The only reason I replaced the first one is because I broke the handle off of it by accident. I had it for years, and I mixed everything with it, including a pallet of mortar used to set and grout cultured stone on the foundation of a customers house. I also mixed 100’s of bags of thinset and grout for tile. Not to mention all the spackle and and setting compound I mixed with it. I had several drills before this one and I wore every one of them out. This is by far the best mixing drill I have ever owned, and I highly recommended it!!

You have to jump thru extra hoops to register it unless you buy it at other places... Why? Otherwise looks like a good drill...

I would probably give this five stars except that when you buy Ridgid brand on Amazon it doesn't include the lifetime warranty. That said I got it here for about $100 less than Home Depot, and it seems sturdy enough I expect it to last a long time.
