Super powerful! Don't buy this if your tank is 7ft or less. I bought the bigger version initially, not realising just how powerful this piece of equipment is. Great value for money!

Very, very powerful, ideal for use in my eight foot marine aquarium, but it hums quite noticeably. I'm not using it at the moment due to the noise. I hope to use it after I've had a go at making it quieter, possibly alter to a different type of mount. Shame really as, as I said it's very powerful!

Put in a 7ft tank and it blows it straight up the other end

When buying power heads, wave makers or anything that goes into a fish tank, one of the main points a designer should consider is the length of the power lead. When the wave maker is inside the tank, this lead will not even reach to the bottom of the outside of the tank so it requires an extension lead to reach the sockets either on the wall or inside the tank stand unit. Rather annoying because it’s not too bad as a less powerful wave maker.

Excellent value for the money. Did the job perfectly.

Great flow but too noisy

This was brought as a replacement as another brand had failed, i have a 500ltr tank and this is crazy powerful, i have it set to run 2 x 15 mins a day and the sand is clean! In a predator tank with plecos. Great so far
