I used these in a recent build of mine and have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of them. Right out of the box they are balanced almost perfectly and required less than 5 minutes of work. Most people probably would've left them alone, but I'm a little quirky when it comes to stabs. They fit perfectly just like they should and popped right into place with no play. I greased them up with some Ranked stabilizer kream and they couldn't be smoother. These are unbeatable at this price, and I recommend them to anyone putting a board together.

Are these PCB-mounted keyboard stabilizers named Stupid because they are stupid easy to use? Or because they are stupid cheap? Actually both. They are easy to use for anyone who has ever installed stabilizers before and they are inexpensive.In the box are 5 pre-assembled stabilizers: 4 with 2u wires and 1 with a 6.25u wire. There is a loose 7u wire in the box for those like me who prefer a tsangan layout whenever possible.I ordered the 1.6mm PCB version of the stabilizers. Wuque Studios has a 1.2mm version as well. The 1.2mm version will not work with a 1.6mm PCB but the 1.6mm version can work with 1.2mm PCBs as long as shims – not included – are installed underneath the PCB to provide proper anchoring for the clips.These stabilizers do not come with isolation pads that some folks like to place between stabilizer housings and PCB. I don't use those so their exclusion is fine by me.Out of the box the wires are quite straight. I found that none of them need any straightening before installing. This likely varies box by box but what a bonus in my case!According to the product listing on Wuque Studio's own web site, these stabilizers have some lube pre-applied but I see no evidence of that. The wires, the stems and stabilizer housings are dry. I suppose that's ok because I don't have to clean them first before applying my own lube. I don't recommend they be used out of the box without lube because even with WS's attempts to reduce rattling it can still be present without the lube preventing the wires from banging about loosely inside the stems.WS has attempted to reduce rattling and friction by introducing silicone inserts inside the stems. In one of my pictures they can be identified by the black bits inside the orange stems. There are also bits of silicone inside the areas that clip onto the wire.Thanks to this design I recommend only a thin layer of Krypton 205g0 near the wire elbows where they clip in and just a light coat, not gobs, on the ends that insert into the stems. If there is still any rattling after that, then I recommend using a lube syringe to inject a bit of lube into the stems a bit at a time to tune them. IMO thicker lube like XHT-BDZ grease is not needed for this stabilizer design.The stabilizer wires clip in from the bottom of the housing, something I've personally only experienced with WS stabilizers. I find this a rather intuitive approach that manages to keep the wires trapped and not come off housings during use.These stabilizers use clips to stay securely mounted on the PCB. In the box is a ring of 18 little stoppers. After a clipping a stabilizer into place, one of these stoppers broken off the ring is inserted into the open clip to ensure the clip stays open. This anchors the clip to the PCB and prevents the stabilizer housing from being pulled off. If a clip doesn't open wide enough to fit a stopper inside then sharp tweezers or small screwdriver can pry the clip open.At the end of the day, the Stupid stabilizers are a good, easy to install set of stabilizers. They are inexpensive and work great. IMO there is no need to purchase pricey "stabilizers of the week" when these budget stabilizers do the job perfectly fine.

They're almost double the price of budget DUROCK kits I've bought in the past but the brand is generally trustworthy. I hope they can bring the cost down in the future since their switches are both affordable and perform well.
