Yes it does, it looks lovely when put together this picture doesn't do it justice :)

Q: What is the packing dimensions ?

If you mean what are the dimensions of this product as it is shipped in its packaging, that is very hard to tell, as it is a long time since I unpacked mine. All I can say is that it is quite long, probably over 6ft due to the parts that are in it. It was not that wide, perhaps a couple of feet and not that deep, perhaps about one foot. I am sorry I can not be more specific than that as I am just going by memory. I would say that when you unpack the product you will need a fair bit of space for assembling. I built mine inside the house in an average-sized bedroom for my son, and that is where it has stayed. It is a good strong swing, swings very smoothly, and is not too difficult to assemble and best done by two people, because there is a fair bit of weight in the cross beam and legs. The swing seat comes in parts: boards for the seat are assembled to side supports using screws. All the tools you need for assembly are included. I hope this much helps .

Q: can you take the seat off to store seperately

Yes, the seat comes off to store. The seat and chain is secured with caribener type clips and is completely removable.
