Simple and easy-to-use high capacity ClearlyFrozen ice cube tray/ice cube maker employs "directional freezing" to mold either ten 2" or twenty-one 1.3" glass-like artisanal ice cubes at home with untreated tap water in an ordinary freezer. Multi-size mold design expandable to twenty one 1.3" x 1.3" x 2" oblongs. It costs only a fraction of the price of other clear ice products that make just two or four cubes. I am very happy with my purchase. I have already made a couple batches of perfectly clear cubes (no cloudiness at all) - both the large and smaller cubes. It was very easy to do by following the directions included with my purchase. It took about 18 hours in my freezer, but that may vary some depending on the freezer you use. I removed it from the freezer when there was still some water below the cube mold, but the cubes were completely frozen. There are a lot of clear ice options out there, but this one has many great reviews and works exactly how I would expect. In fact, I am so pleased with it, I just purchased the spears mold to go with the large and small cube molds I bought originally. If you’re looking for a way to elevate your craft cocktails by using clear ice, I would highly recommend this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It Does What It Says on the Tin

It does what it says on the tin. I use a mix of bottled, filtered and tap water (the heavy, bad stuff gets pushed into the bottom) to get some amazingly clear ice. I used to use the cooler in the freezer method, but this is far more convenient than carving and chopping ice. Personally, I think it is a bit pricey given what it is.... but the sheer convenience of it, the lack of a need to chop and shape my own ice, these things have made up for it. I do not post images typically, and I will not here, but just know that my whisky is very happy with the large cubes and the wife is happy with the smaller ones. Buy it if you can. It works as advertised. If you are still getting cloudy ice, do not use 100% filtered water. Cut it at least 50/50 with bottled or a mix like I have explained above. If you STILL get cloudy or unclear ice, turn your freezer down a notch and wait 24 hours before making ice again. You have to get the right timing or the freezer just traps bubble trails.
