Screen 8/10 for sharpness and color. Speakers 10/10 for loudness without sounding like a tin can. Battery 10/10 for crazy fast charging and battery life. Speed 10/10. Camera 5/10. Images are blurry and washed out. Weight 7/10. It is almost 3 pounds. Waterproof 10/10 as I have used it in a pool, ocean and hot tub. Premium feel 10/10. Hand strap on back 10/10. Face unlock 6/10. Does not work well in low light conditions. Flash light 10/10 for brightness. I have started using it more than my laptop and phone.

Bought this for use on our day charter powerboat as our Chartplotter had stopped working ($2500 to replace compared to $280 for this tablet) and also as a portable backup for ocean yacht deliveries that we do. Runs navionics with wifi ais input. Also bluetooths in the Garmin in reach satellite comms with nav software. The 2 tb sd card(not included)has my entire music library and chart catalouge for the Canada USA South America on. Also plenty of room for a good number of movies to alleviate the boredom of offshore life. With a sim card and data I even take credit card payments on this when we do day charters. Shockproof,waterproof suited to a heavy marine environment. Sometimes forget to take it off the boat during washdown with no ill effects. The device is heavy in comparison to normal tablets but the rugged nature of the tablet outweighs the weight issue. A bonus to the weight and rubberized casing means you can put it down on a rolling boat and it stays there. Lighter tablets would become an airborne Frisbee My last regular tablet bent during packing my delivery bag and shipping it home. Totally my fault and beyond the abuse that would be put on a device used in urban settings. But the reality is that I operate outside and offshore in places I shouldn't tell my mother about so a device of this strength will cope with not only a rough environment but also an owner who doesn't always have the time to treat the device gently. Haven't run over it with my truck yet but it's surprising how many times that's happened out in the boonies. I'm thinking it would take the hit well. The hand strap is strong and secure. I am convinced that with the strap it could double as a shield in hand to hand combat. Screen is bright enough under shade of a bimini and for extra battery life you can take it down to lowest brightness setting for use at night. Did notice that it is best viewed direct, viewing the device from the side does make the screen darker. But not dark enough to be a big issue The touch screen is sensitive enough to use but does not react to heavy rain hitting the screen and activating functions. My device is mounted in a flush metal bracket on the console and sits well when heading into 20 - 25 knt headwinds and heavy seas Even with a music player running in the background the memory intensive navigation program runs without any glitches that I have experienced on the normal 8gb ram tablets. Battery life lasts a full day on max brightness and full program use and from 8am to 5pm it has not gone below 60% battery. On my other "normal" tablet the battery would only last 6 hrs max using these same programs then shut down. Not usefull when you are tracking ships at 3am off Norfolk VA. It will top up the battery from that level with a fast charger in about an hour. For the price to utility comparison, I bought it as a disposable item to try out. I am very happy with it ad it will be used every day. Added an aluminum folding stand for TV mode viewing. Below decks or in the bunk which makes it very practical to use pretty much everywhere. Next project is to strap it to my DJ mavik drone control for max visibility and control. Overall very happy with this product after 1 month continuous use

I purchased the HOTWAV TAB R9 approximately one month prior to writing this review. I wanted a good tablet that is rugged enough for my work. My initial impressions: Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed how heavy this tablet is in comparison to other tablets of similar size. The added weight is likely a result of the durability focused construction as well as a large battery. It feels satisfyingly solid in the hands. The Battery: The battery life is impressive! I have run this thing constantly for nearly 12 hours and I still have 40% battery remaining. If you’re an “average” tablet user, you can expect approximately 2 days worth of battery life with normal usage. Aesthetics: The TAB R9 feels like a solid piece of granite slate yet looks sleek in appearance. Function: When the screen is kept reasonably clean, the touch screen is very sensitive and responds very well. The loading of apps and programs is surprisingly fast and consistent for a tablet in its price range. Connects to WIFI and Bluetooth devices easily. Compatibility: Most Internet SIM card providers are not supported in the Tab R8. MINT sim is the one that I know works with the tablet. Be sure to check IMEI compatibility with the service provider to are considering. Camera: The camera is great for general purposes. However, if you are a “photographer” type minded individual, then this tablet leaves much to be desired. Camping light: Wow! Surprisingly bright. I am curious to see how long the lights will last before mechanical burnout however the performance is great. Conclusion: For the price, this thing exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t looking for a tablet for streaming, high end video editing or gaming. Just a solid tablet that didn’t suck and won’t break easily. This tablet would be great for someone who uses it in rugged conditions. It is pretty heavy, very large, has a long battery life, and the camping light on the back is pretty bright. There is no way the camera is as good as it claims, because it is very blurry and low quality. The screen itself is also not very vibrant or high quality.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this HOTWAV tablet. The screen is bright, sharp, and much larger than my phone, making it much more enjoyable to watch videos. I also love that it comes with a screen protector and a protective case, so it’s ready to use right out of the box. It’s very convenient to use in the car, especially during trips. Overall, it’s a great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it!

Es una muy buena tablet Android muy poco conocida en México pero me arriesgué a comprar en la primera vez la Hotwav r7 y me pareció genial así que no pude resistir la tentación de adquirir esta tablet Hotwav r9 que es un poco más grande de 11 pulgadas y hasta la fecha ha funcionado muy bien. La recomiendo.

Perfecto se la puede usar con chit de celular

Tiene algunas fallas en el sistema, pero son mínimas, al tacto se atora con algunas ventanas, pero el prometido límite de memoria es increíble.

Mentirosos tiene 6GB DE RAM MUY LENTA COCHINERO :/
