Did anyone else received this product with the packaging scotch taped? I would expect a product this expensive to be sealed from the factory.

Yes. The package I received has a small piece of scotch tape on the sides. Probably added by the seller to prevent the plastic outer package opening up in transit. 👍 The actual container jar inside was in perfect condition.
