It had been wrapped in tape but it had obviously been sliced open previously. I PAID FOR A NEW PRODUCT. The lens itself works fine but it does have a small scratch on the body. This is my 2nd lens purchase from 7artisans. The first one, the 12mm came with no problem. This second experience is making me want to return BOTH lenses. Not cool, 7artisans.
