Max Factor Smooth effect Foundation 55 Buff Beige

this foundation is not too heavy but it covers your skin well enough to hide any redness or blemishes. I also don't need to use facepowder with it as it has a nice finish, would definately recommend especially to people in their 30s who don't want a heavy made up look but find tinted moisturiser too light. It lasts all day too.

I've used this particular foundation for many years.it suits my skin and always looks nice. The fact that I can buy it via Amazon is a bonus. Great product at an amazing price

I have tried many different foundations and I do find quite a few of them can look very cakey on my combination skin so I saw this one and the reviews seemed quite good so thought I would give it a go as compared to some other foundations this one is also very reasonably priced. I went for the creamy ivory colour and it does match my skin very well. It applied nice and smooth both using my fingers and also with my foundation brush gave a nice medium coverage and I have to say it didn't look cakey at all. However the reason that I have not given this the full five stars is due to the smell of this which is a little off putting and not great at all, maybe I got a bad one but not the most pleasant foundation for scent but after applying you don't notice it.I do think this is a nice foundation and for the price you can't go wrong just shame about the smell.

Have used this for a couple of years, gives good coverage and is reasonably priced. Seems to have disappeared from the high street though so was pleased to find it available here.

Love this product! Smells fresh and spreads smoothly giving a healthy, natural tanned appearance. Excellent value for money.

I'm running low on my Porcelain Smooth Effect Foundation so went to order another one on here. However, I came across this one in Sand which was a couple of pounds cheaper than the Porcelain one so I opted to try that instead. MISTAKE!!! I should have paid more attention to the one reviewer who said it was too orange'y for her. Yes, it IS orange'y, dammit! Unless someone has a much deeper and darker skin than I have (and my skin is very fair!) this shade of foundation will look pretty silly on anyone who, like me, has much paler skin. Only someone who isn't averse to using orange toned fake tan, for example, may like this!! Personally, I'm going to have to bin mine because it's totally unusable for me. I knew I should have stuck to the Porcelain one .. and I've actually lost money now instead of saving a couple of pounds! Oh well, you live and you learn ..... :-(P.S. If it weren't for the fact that this shade is more orange than sand it'd get a bettter review from me. I've been using my Porcelain Smooth Effect Foundation for months and really like it. It's fairly lightweight yet covers well, without looking caked and yucky, it gives quite a natural, slightly glow'y look and it lasts awhile. I'm definitely getting another tube of the Porcelain one!

Bought this after reading a magazine article. This product blends nicely and you only need a little bit. It has not given me spots like some products do and is easy to apply. The price is good for the product you are getting. This is not my fave but it is good. I buy another product from a different company which is fantastic but is also three times the price of this! I have quite pale skin although dark hair and eyes but the fair colour seems to suit me.

Very nice, smooth, great color. My mother used to swear by Max Factor, it is a great product, will order again.

Ho preso questo fondotinta da usare in estate in viaggio, quando sono più abbronzata e il tubetto di plastica è decisamente più comodo da trasportare.Il prodotto è molto buono, si stende molto bene sia con la spugnetta che con il pennello e costa davvero poco (4,5 €) ma tolgo una stella perchè il fondotinta si ossida nel giro di un paio d'ore cambiando quindi il colore che tende a scurire. Questo rende un po' difficile indovinare la colorazione finale soprattutto quando, perdendo l'abbronzatura, lo uso non più da solo ma mescolato con altri più chiari.

La compré porque era muy barata pero me equivoqué en el color. Es buena base pero las hay mejores.

I love this makeup it doesn't cause me irritation and it doesn't dry out my already dry skin.
