If you get additional elements, e.g. the guard rail with support poles, the height can be extended to around 6ft. A combination of base unit and guard rail allow you to work outside on the ground floor of a standard house. I must now stop using wood blocks for my steel tower.** A: The o/d of unthreaded section is an inch the i/d of the adjusters goes over the one and a half inch tubes. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Improves tower stability *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 August 2024* Used the scaffold tower a few times and used wood spacers under the feet to stabilise. These base plates and really worthwhile and I now easily set the tower with a spirit level. A quick check of the plates afterwards identifies whether any are slightly loose and if so quickly adjusted. Once done the tower is far more stable.Probably around 100mm of travel so anything more requires a block spacer which obviously does not need to be the precise height.Well worth the outlay. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what was needed *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5 March 2025* Perfect.
