Easy to install plug and play no need for any configuration. And I received a defected device at first but they replaced it for me and everything works fine. The customer support also was helpful. Tested the internal speeds and yes I got 2.5GB

Worked great initially. But noticed weird connection speed after about a month on one computer and discovered that it was no longer able to achieve 2.5gb nor 1gb speed on the port, only 100mb. Tested with different connections and cables, but either no connection or only 100mb on that specific port. Questionable quality control with a failure like that. Apart from that, worked as advertised, and customer support sorted a replacement quickly.

£48 reduced from £60 at time of review I’m in the process of upgrading my home network with Cat 7 cables and 2.5Gbps adapters on my computers and NAS so needed to swap out my old 1G switch, wow what a difference! Most of the time I’m just connecting to the internet (which is a 1Gig connection via Three, which I can’t recommend enough!). Anyway this thing is brilliant, no bottle necks, full 1G to the internet and a noticeable difference connecting to my NAS, everything just worked seamlessly and so fast. Streaming my Plex & Jellyfin at full res has been no problem, and backing up my computers and working off the NAS has been a dream come true, super happy with this switch, highly recommend! I set this up in my garage, where all my wired connections terminate into the comms box. It gets really hot in there during summer, so I was a bit concerned about how the switch would handle the heat — but it's been rock solid with zero issues so far. Setup was genuinely plug-and-play. No configuration needed — I just hooked up my devices and it was up and running instantly. The 2.5G ports are great for future-proofing — I’m only on a 1Gbps internet connection at the moment, but the extra bandwidth is already coming in handy for local streaming and large file transfers across my home network. Build quality is solid, it runs quietly (no fan noise), and the form factor makes it easy to mount or tuck away neatly. For the price I paid, it’s fantastic value — especially considering it supports 2.5G across all eight ports.
