After reading research on dimethicone ...which is a Silicone and bioaccumulation that many scientists believe is damaging skin and scalp ( from hair products), I searched high and low for a product without it. I am so very pleased with DHC CoQ10. I layer it on my serious areas (a small dab goes a long ways), let it dry, and apply my regular moisturizer then makeup.I was brought up in the Mojave Desert, California, and have several spots that my Dermatologist has been watching on my face and shoulders. I started CoQ10, it took from August to November to see the definite difference in my skin healing these long-term areas and today my Dr. was amazed and wrote down the product, putting the note in his pocket. I am getting older and really thought I was doomed to thinning skin, etc. and was nervous about the sun damage areas and what kind of surgical procedure or worse might be in my near future.The most serious area was on the ridge of my nose and I have been trying all sorts of things for more than 5 years to get the skin to resurface and heal so my sunglasses no longer puncture or redden that area, nothing worked or changed my skin. Then comes DCH!!! I have friends now using it on their backs, shoulders, neck, and arms, where they have major skin/sun damage!This is an amazing product! I have sensitive fair skin with absolutely no reaction to this product. I have not been paid nor solicited to review this product....I am just a picky consumer. High Price?? Well, you get what you pay for.UPDATE 2 YEARS LATER: My dermatologist no longer worries about the ridge of my nose or my shoulders. The area of serious repeated sunburning over years and years....is regular healthy looking skin, no longer thin, pink, and shiny with dark-odd spots. Thought you'd like to know this.

DHC products are high quality. This gel really does brighten skin and help to even skin tone. I stay out of the sun now and CoQ10 gel is lightening my sun spots!

Good value for money. Very moisturizer that last all day.

This is a great cream but be careful if you have sensitive skin like I do. It’s a good cream gel to have, doesn’t smell bad and not sticky like other gels. My skin has done better with other brands from Sephora but I want to give this a few more tries before completely giving it a thumbs down. It has made my skin smoother but no significant changes like my other creams.

I've been using DHC products for 10+ years. I love their products. You can't go wrong with these. This gel moisturizer is thick and creamy and is all that you need every day.
