Small and brilliant..
Firstly, let me say that I had to return this PC because there was something wrong with it and I didn’t have time to mess about and fix it. It was a WiFi issue that needed more time to be solved but sadly at this time, I just didn’t have it. I will be buying another one in a couple of months when I have more time.I connected the PC by network cable eventually (trailing across the floor so not ideal) but it was an absolute blast while it was working. My PC at home for the past year has been a Mac Mini M2 and this thing was easily as fast as that. I work with Adobe software (CC) and after I installed the suite on the Minisforum, and it did all its windows updates, it was just as fast as the Mac Mini, maybe a little faster. Apps seemed to launch quicker and run a little more smoothly and it had no issue running my BenQ 4K monitor. Colours were accurate and the display scaling worked a treat. My Mac makes a mess of running at 4K - the menus are tiny and there’s no way to change that other than dropping the resolution on the monitor - thanks a lot Apple. Who’s going to purchase a 4K monitor and be forced to drop it to 1440p to get it to work? This PC was very quiet and has plenty of connection options compared to my Mac. It’s also under 50% of the size of the Mac Mini and this makes it very unobtrusive. There are no vibrations or strange noises coming from it and the SSD is very fast (as fast as the Mac) so no issues there. There’s plenty of RAM (32gb) so I never experienced any issues running PS, Illustrator, Bridge, Edge and Outlook at the same time and using large files - most of the artwork I work with is 100mb + and it never missed a beat.I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations and I will be purchasing another one to replace my Mac Mini in a couple of months when I can iron out any issues that may arise. Finally, I have to say that I contacted Minisforum for support and they were polite and very helpful - again not what I expected at all!

Brilliant, quiet, really fast and good value
My first mini PC and it's brilliant. In some ways it's made my bigger, noisy gaming desktop PC redundant.Firstly it's really quiet, great for office work. It's efficient in wattage making it cheap to run for 8 hours a day. You can throw any app at it and it'll handle it. Around 10w idle, and 65w during gaming. It's not a gaming PC, but it can play games and play very well. Check out the YouTube videos. For reference I've tried it with CS2 (100fps) Witcher3(50fps dx11) Helldivers2 (40fps) no problems, on 1080p on low/medium settings. And can go even higher if you turn on quality scaling. Can support 3 monitors at the same time.Overall brilliant, fast, energy efficient, quiet and tiny :)

Nice Mini Ryzen 7000 series mini PC
Compact mini PC which is good for general PC tasks and some light gaming at 1080p low settings. Was disappointed with memory configurations as although advertized with 16GB, so was very frustrated that came in a single channel config, needing me to buy another module to make a dual channel config. The build quality is ok - plastic casing is a shame when comparing to more premium competitors, but at the price, this is a fair and realistic compromise. The 1TB PCIe gen 4 SSD is reasonably fast and has no real issues. At a price of £320 this is a good buy and preferable to its Intel competition. Would have been a 5 star review if it had been configured as 1TB SSD + 2 X 8GB RAM.

Died within a week
It all started so well. Speedy delivery and easy set up. It’s a very speedy machine indeed. Most reviews had praised the product and I thought I’d got a bargain. However after less than a week of light use, while I was using my DAW to make some music, the pc shut down. I turned off the socket, waited a minute or two and rebooted it. It did start up again but shut down within a few minutes. Then subsequently it wouldn’t even boot up at all. Unfortunately I have had to return the um680hx slim for a refund. Maybe I just received a faulty one but there was no easy way to contact the company to request a replacement pc and I would have had to pay for the shipping. I did see that other people have had the same issue with this pc.

Excellent value for money performance
I purchased the Venus Series UM773 Lite 32GB/1TBAmple memory, although could always use more storage space, but 1TB is enough and with 2 USB C ports it is easy to add an external SSD.Performance is excellent considering this was less than £600 8 fast cores and 16 threads, handles photo and 4K video editing easily.Light gaming at low to medium settings is possible, I'd recommend setting V-Ram to 4GB in bios, play at 720p and upscale using the super resolution feature in the drivers (games like fortnite, counterstrike GO and Borderlands 3 play without issue)With the relatively low cost compared to a laptop with 32GB RAM and 1TB M.2 SSD it allows a low cost way to get a small but powerful system in place. If I continue to be impressed, I will look at Minisforum PCs for upgrades in future, the big advantage for me is the ability to replace the PC whilst keeping a high quality screen, Keyboard, mouse etc, and the portability means it can be plugged in almost anywhere!

Great desktop option for my kids
Purchased this as a lightweight desktop option for my children. Requirements simply that I wanted a windows machine, with a proper processor rather than a celeron, and it needed to be able to handle homework and minecraft smoothly. This was significantly cheaper than any equivalent laptop and handles the job beautifully. Also has the advantage of 'NOT' being a laptop, which means they can't try to squirrel it away to their room where they are less visible!
