ok...ive been journaling for the past 5 years since my son's accident, as suggested by my therapist...i buy a new journal every year to write down my daily thoughts...i saw this journal on amazon and intrigued me because of the leather and the old vintage look to it so i ordered...and WOW!!!! its gorgeous, soft leather, all handmade, little vintage brass lock to secure your daily precious thoughts and memories...and the pages are so vintage, the thickness of the pages are perfect....i ordered the largest size and its still compact enough to take everywhere i go...this by far is the BEST journal i have ever owned!! i definetly know where i will be buying a new one for the following years to come..THANK U and GOD BLESS

very antique looking. The pages are suitably stressed and "stained". The leather is very nice, but i will need to scratch it up some and rub some coffee on it to make it match the antiquing on the paper. The laces need some wear and rubbing as well.

This was a gift from my husband and it is so unique and special. The lapis lazul stone on the front is so unique, as well as the authentic paper sewn inside. The craftsmanship is very well done. The lock is an extra special touch.

No, i don't work for the company and did indeed pay for this book, in fact, two: one as a Xmas gift for a pen club's party and another for myself. From the moment I opened the book, I was blown away at the packaging, opening layer after layer of care taken in wrapping and shipping this leather-bound item.When I finally got to the item itself, I realized what a great gift I gave myself as well as someone at the upcoming event. This book will be treasured by any writer, young or old, by any gender. One of a kind feel in the cover and the pages. MY best buy of the year.

Great quality for a good price.

I bought it for my daughter who loves to sketch. It's really a cool journal, the pages look and feel very textured, but not so great for sketching. My daughter tried to use it for her sketches but the paper will ball up. She says it would be great for just writing in though.

I didn't think it would exceed my expectations for this beautiful leather bound book. It writes so beautifully and makes me feel so comforted with such wonderful quality paper. It makes me think of a old fashioned leather book you'd see from back in the day. It definitely smells like leather. The ink writes nice! Will be back for more!

Such a beautiful notebook! My 6 year old wanted it to draw his imaginary creatures in. He absolutely loves it.
