Very good purchase, great picture!
This Review is for the spy cam. This cam is much more than I expected, especially for the crazy low price. Set up was extremely easy and took less than one minute after downloading app. I set it up, using the included stand in my kitchen (a little wobbly, but easily secured with clear stationary tape) to monitor my dogs while i'm away. The picture was extremely clear, both day and night images. The camera has a nice wide angel view, with very clear picture. It has live view and recording capability. You can also zoom in to see a larger image. The battery life is great. I used it for 4 days while I was gone and still had approximately 50% battery life remaining. (The camera was on 24 hrs a day and my dogs were constantly going in my kitchen and activating the record function and notifying me). I received alerts through the app every time my dog's entered the kitchen, So I was able to monitor their behavior, and ensure my dog sitter did her job. It is small, but provides great coverage. My camera was on a counter in plain view, but it is very small and could be easily hidden. If I wasn't near my phone when an alert went off, I could watch a short 5 second recording, which can be adjusted in app, recorded video storage will depend on the size of the micro SD card used . Overall I am very happy with the spy cam. I would recommend this to anyone. One thing that might be a small issue for some, the camera only connects to a 2.4g wifi and not a 5g wifi connection, but most wifi routers today can do both. I use an Amazon eeos wifi router and it does both 2.4g and 5g. When connecting the camera through the app a message popped up saying "it looks like you are using a 5g wifi, please confirm you are using 2.4g wifi." I just hit the confirm button and the camera connected without issue.

Got more, I liked it that much.
I put this camera up on top of my cabinets, in the corner of my kitchen. I am able to see the stairs to the front door, the beginning of my hallway, the entry way from my kitchen/dining room into my living room, and when people are going in and out of my sliding glass door, which leads to my backyard. The picture quality is GREAT whether in normal lighting or night vision. It's very self explanatory on the setup and the app is pretty easy to navigate. The only complaint(s) I have, is that the sound quality could be better and that the battery doesn't last as long as I would like, due to the sensitivity I have my motion detection on and the amount of time it records, once triggered. It easily connected to my 2.4g wifi. It's small but mighty! lol Even though I feel like it's in plain sight, there are still people in my household who haven't noticed it yet. It's been up for 2 wks now. I wanted to be able to have access to the things going on in my home while I am away. I feel like if I had 2 more of these camera's, I would probably be able to keep an eye on every spot in my house, excluding bedrooms and bathrooms of course. It's definitely worth purchasing, to see if it works as well for you, as it has for me. Update: I now have 2 of these cameras and have purchased micro SD cards for them...now I can view more areas of my house and setting the second one up through the app was pretty simple. I love that a subscription is offered but not a necessity to be able to use the camera(s) I just wish I was able to pan the camera while watching and be able to talk to the people being recorded.

Cloud Service Cost is high; Mic and Night Vision doesn't work (have two cameras same issue)
The camera is okay as we foster kittens and a quick look to see how things are going; however, here are my complaints why I will not purchase again: 1. The night vision is NOT night vision. I cannot even see anything at night and have to keep the light on in the room just to view what is going on. 2. The speaker/mic never works (I have two, and neither works) 3. BEWARE!! The cost of a subscription for cloud storage is PER CAMERA and not per account. I have another camera service, Vision Well (costs the same for equipment and is a nicer product), for outside security, and we pay per account for 4 cameras, which allows unlimited devices. UBOX charges about $40 a camera per year. :/ So, for three cameras, it's around $120; that is outrageous. However, it does have the options for SD, but it's a pain. I bought these due to the size being more convenient for a cat catio, but I will be putting my money back into Vision Well, and work with the size.

I chose this over a doorbell camera! It works!
This little camera works! I was a little worried at first because I’ve purchased others before and couldn’t get them to work due to my internet. This one was easier for me as it gave me the option to choose between my 5G and 2.4 ghz. I have put the camera in my front window on the inside and it does detect motion. The size is perfect because it’s small enough that it fits on the ledge of my push up window. There is a strong sticky base to it and it also comes with mounts. Connecting it was a breeze! I love that I can zoom in if I choose to. I did not sign up for the cloud but I am putting in a micro sd card so I can record with it. It has a bright and clear picture. There is an option for alerts which is nice. I bought this because there has been some theft in the neighborhood and if that happens to my property I’m hoping to catch it with this camera. I do not have any sort of doorbell security and I believe that for the price of this little camera as opposed to an expensive doorbell camera I will do just fine. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, well working camera, this is it! Also I do not need to speak to people from a device at my door (doorbell camera) because it’s not necessary for my needs. You can record audio but not through a window. Update: I am mistaken, the camera does not indicate when there is motion from outside. It was indicating because I was manually moving it to position it. When I went outside with my phone to check the cameras view, it did not alert me to movement. It does however video through the window and you can take screenshots through the window. I am still happy with my camera and will continue to use it.

It's small but works great!
I can't believe how long the battery lasts on a single charge for such a tiny security camera! A huge plus for me is being able to hook it up to a power bank. This is a game-changer because it lets me set the camera up in places without any outlets and keep it running continuously. The picture quality is top-notch and definitely won't disappoint. Given how good this camera is, it’s completely worth getting one for every corner of the house that needs an extra eye. 5/5 stars!

Used to watch gecko
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Customer service is a joke. There is none. The camera is ok. I use it in my terrariums to enjoy watching my leopard gecko while I'm working. It lags. And it's not my internet. Video is only 5 to 30 seconds recorded. You gotta pay for saving data or you can use an SD card. The night vision is nice.

Excellent small camera. Performs beyond expectation.
The 4K Spy Camera is an excellent camera. We use ours to monitor our cats in the room throughout the day. The clarity is excellent day and night. The night vision mode is awesome. The range of view excellent for a small camera. I highly recommend them for any area of the home. I plan to purchase more because of the quality.

Nice Small Camera.
I would not class this as a spy camera as it is a bit on the large size for that, it is still smaller than your normal indoor camera though. The stand is a clip on stand which went on quite easy. I have mine mounted upside down in my shed looking at a window bird feeder, see attached photographs. The picture quality is good as can be seen, both daytime and night time. the camera is easy to operate via the button on the back and I have an SD card in mine. I did not have to download the app as another camera I have uses the same one, this was a bonus as I only had to add it. The Ubox app itself in my opinion is a bit dated and a bit of a faff as every time I login my login has expired and I have to log in again. The app automatically defaults to the cloud storage and you have to change it to the local to see what is on the card. With this camera In the schedule settings I could not delete the default I could only disable it before adding your own, which is different from my other camera. It only seems to have settings for the cloud video duration and not just the video duration for all videos, I have that set to 10 Secs but the videos go way over that, sometimes over a minute, I'm not sure what is happening with that. For some reason the storage management section on this camera only shows the cloud and not the SD card like my other camera does. I might uninstall and reset this camera to see if that makes a difference. In conclusion, I think this is a good small indoor camera at a very competitive price. the picture quality is fine. There is quite a bit of fish eye effect if mounted away from the subject, but that is to be expected from something this small. My only niggle is the app which could be better in my opinion, but overall a good experience. Recommended if you are after a camera that does not take up much space. I hope you found this review useful.

Great little camera
Budget camera at it's best. I'm afraid in this day and age you have to be vigilant and protect your property and possessions the best way you can. My house is surrounded by CCTV camera's. Some are professionally fitted and others are devices fitted by myself. I have to say in all honesty the picture on this little spy camera is just as good as the expensive ones. Just download the app and it connects via Wi-Fi in seconds. It needs a SD card which I haven't purchased yet but will get round to it eventually. Until then it has minimal storage. The motion detection is brilliant, it doesn't miss a trick. Plus you can hear everything clear as day. I have mine positioned in a plant on my window sill covering a blind spot from my other cameras which is focused on my car. At first I was slightly disappointed by the night vision because It wasn't clear at all but once I tinkered about with the app for a bit l found lighting that brightened it up extremely clear. The only downside to this camera is the length of the charging cable, I would like to keep the camera in the same spot but it's not long enough. Each time it needs charging I have to move it. The app is just like any other, takes a while to get used to. It's all trial and error I'm no tech wizard at 52 but I have found my way around it eventually, nothing too daunting. The size of it is dinky and cute but too big to conceal without being noticed to the trained eye. Personally I prefer my cameras as a deterrent so I like them in full view. Overall this camera is a little beauty cheap, cheerful, easy to use what more do you expect for the price.

Bulky as a spy camera, feels a little old tech and paid subsciption features restrictive.
I’ve got a lot of IP security cameras around the house and garden already, so I wasn’t getting this particular camera for security purposes rather as a bit of a gimmick. Maybe follow the dog around a bit to see what she gets up to when she’s outside of the range of the IP cameras. I was quite surprised by how big the camera is. It’s not huge by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s bulky for something described as a spy camera. I’m sure Blofeld would have spotted this immediately after Bond hid it in his underground lair. That said, being entirely wireless you can place it anywhere you wish, but only indoors as it’s not waterproof. It accepts a standard microSD card which you place into the rear. There’s no hidden door to remove to access the memory card like on many IP cameras. To operate the camera you’ll need to download an app. The app feels a little dated but is functional. It will constantly encourage you to take out a paid subscription to access cloud storage rather than using your own memory card. That’s pretty standard with cameras, however I wasn’t expecting some functionality to be hidden behind that paywall. Not all advanced features are available unless you subscribe. The quality of the footage is acceptable. It doesn’t rival my current IP cameras but they do have larger sensors and cost a lot more so I can accept that. It won’t deal with fast moving images very well so don’t consider it as an action camera alternative. I tried attaching it to a Scalextric car to see what racing at track level was like and it wasn’t very good. The camera will only work with 2.Ghz Wifi, not 5Ghz. Again, this isn’t uncommon in security cameras, but can be troublesome for some routers. It did connect okay with the app on my iPhone using a Virgin Super Hub 5 as that has dual frequency, but I have cameras that wouldn’t connect to that hub in the past so it is a positive that the spy cam connected at all. I feel the camera is perhaps a generation behind in regards to technology. The giveaway is usually when you see a micro USB charging port as most tech devices have moved to USB-C by now. Overall I can’t be too critical. It’s £20 at time of testing and I wasn’t expecting 4k HDR Prime Video quality, but I still feel it’s a gimmicky product rather than a serious camera.

Discreet and small, but still too big to really call a hidden camera
This camera unit is relatively small and discreet with the main unit cube measuring around 5cm x 4cm x 4cm. However although discreet, I still found it a bit too big to be described as hidden. To be a true hidden camera, I would say you need the lense probably on a wire with the main unit hidden away elsewhere. Indeed it was spotted within a few minutes by children. However, as a security camera, pet camera or baby camera it would work quite well. Image quality is ok certainly no worse than you'd expect costing £20, indeed probably not much better either. It claims AI motion detection, but really other than PIR picking up movement I didn't really see anything particularly 'AI' about it. The Ubox app is ok, but nothing particularly special. It's a shame it's yet another app though. Note the unit is not waterproof, so it's really just an indoor camera. It operates off wifi, but only 2.4Ghz, not the newer 5ghz, so do ensure you keep the 2.4Ghz channels active on your router (though to be fair most smart devices need 2.4Ghz). So not exactly ground breaking stuff here, but for only £20, I must say does function pretty well.

Basic mini camera but good for the price
We've been considering getting a camera to keep an eye on our dog when we're not in, and I thought we could use this to see whether it would do the job. The camera is designed for static installation, so we put it on the coffee table, just out of reach but at the right height so it would trigger when my dog walked past it or climbed on the sofa. Once mounted, the camera stays in place without wobbling or adjusting, which gives me extra peace of mind. The PIR motion detection is responsive, sending me real-time alerts as soon as any motion is detected. The only downside is that the camera records video without audio due to Amazon's policies, so I can't tell if he is barking unless I can see him doing it on camera. The camera includes cloud and local storage options, which aren't features I think I need for what I am using it for, but I can see that they'd definitely be useful to anyone using the camera for security purposes. For anyone looking for a reliable, discreet camera, this is a good option. With features like cloud storage, 2K video resolution, night vision, and motion detection, it covers all the essentials for keeping an eye on your pet, or your home or office secure. The setup process was simple, and I think it's good value for money.
