Anyone use them as bookmarks？

You should check out i-clips magnetic bookmarkers—they are awesome, & you can find them here on Amazon. I have been using them for years. The real i-clips are better than the cheaper knock-off ones.

I would like to know the actual magnet strength. It is not in any initial info or answers to any of the questions.

I have no scale to register strength of magnet. The cables are of a very small size and the magnet is ample for its' size.

Anyone had any trouble with these magnets damaging your electronics?

Dear Barbara G., thanks for your inquiry. These cable clips won't damage your electronics.

what is the purpose of the hole of these cable clips?

The hole allows you to attach the clip to your cable. This ensures you don’t lose the clip when you have the cable unwound.
