Helped with clogged sink but still needed to plunge for best results.
I had a very annoyingly clogged bathroom sink that would take minutes to fully drain. I heard good things about Bio-Clean so thought it was worth a try. I used it at night, leaving it in the sink for about 8 hours as indicated in the instructions. After 3 days I noticed some improvement but not as much as I had hoped. I was slightly annoyed but kept it up for a full week but it was still only a little bit improved. Finally I decided to plunge it again and amazingly the clog was gone! And it still is to this day...several months later. Thus ends my riveting story of the clogged bathroom sink.Really though, the product includes a handy little scoop in the container. It seems expensive but the powder is enough for many applications so is well worth it. Next time (hopefully not for a while) I need to use this, I will try plunging earlier as it definitely helped dislodge and dissolve the blockage.

Excellent for Maintenance and Prevention of Septic Problems
I add one scoop of this to my toilet each month to help with septic maintenance. I also add this to my disposal to help keep things running smoothly, per my plumber's advice. It's easy to use, has kept our 30+ year old septic in great shape, and prevents grease and food clogs in our kitchen sink. We also have used it in our RV's holding tanks to break down waste. It has no odor and works as expected. Well worth the price as it prevents problems.

Good drain cleaner
If you need a quality drain and sewer line cleaner and are concerned about the products effect on your septic system, this is a good product. - We have issues with scrub oak & pine tree roots getting into our ~75-year-old clay pipe drain line(s) going to our septic tank. We have the system scoped every few years and the sewer line itself is fine. But the roots sneak in at the joints so we use a root killer at least once a year. Our plumbing firm suggested we try using Bio-Clean instead of ROOTX or Adios!, which is what we presently use.The Bio-Clean works like Adios! but a lot more expensive. ROOTX has worked the 'best' of the various brands we've tried but the rapid foaming action of the ROOTX can be a problem if you're not prepared. Personally, I do not recommend using ROOTX from inside a building.

One great and very useful product!
There was a strange odor in the bathroom. Finally, with this product, I learned that it probably is the drain trap growing an odor. This stuff works. I am so glad for an end to that odor and also a great product to clean all the drains!

100% Successful On Toilets - Saved $300 On Plumbing
I really hesitated before buying this. It seemed too good to be true, but after realizing it's not an "As Seen On TV" gimmick, I bought it and am thrilled to report a 100% success. I went from a toilet that got clogged every single time it was flushed to never needing a plunger again!By the time I purchased Bio-Clean, I had to use a plunger EVERY SINGLE TIME my bathroom toilet was used - without fail. And it was taking more and more effort to plunge the drain. The last time I plunged the toilet, it caused sewage to back up out of the bathtub. Not even a 3-foot auger snake worked. I was about to call a professional rooter and pay $350 dollars to have them snake the drain all the way to the street - when I decided to try Bio-Clean.RESULTS WEEK 1: I applied Bio-Clean in the toilet and tub for six days before I tried using the toilet. Unfortunately, it still got clogged. However, I was surprised at how little effort it took to plunge the clog away. I was cautiously optimistic and continued using Bio-Clean for a few more days.RESULTS WEEK 2: The next time the toilet was used (12 days after starting) there was no clog. This was the first time in over a month. And every single time since, there have been no problems with the toilet drain. 1 flush and everything is gone. I used no other product nor did I try anything else during this time. Therefore, I can say with certainty that the only way I went from plunging every time the toilet was used to never having to plunge again was because Bio-Clean actually WORKS.I used a slightly different technique than indicated in the instructions that might have made a difference. The instructions recommend using warm water, because the natural bacteria in the powder (like most bacteria) works better in a warm environment:STEP 1: Pour about a gallon of HOT water down the toilet. It will automatically flush and helps warm the pipes.STEP 2: Follow directions and mix 2 scoops of Bio-Clean with warm water and pour down the toilet.STEP 3: Add another quart of warm water to force more of the bio clean deeper into the drain. I didn't want the Bio-Clean to just stay at the bottom of the toilet, nor did I want to just flush it all away, so I alternated between adding enough water to cause a small flush and adding less water to prevent a flush.STEP 4: Leave it alone overnight. The instructions say to use it every day for 5 days and then once a month. I had to use it for about 10 days in two weeks but I am still thrilled with the results.$50 is a lot of money, but there are about 150 servings of Bio-Clean in the tub. Imagine how much 150 bottles of Drano would cost. Even after 10 days, I have enough Bio-Clean left over to last years.
