Trimming horse hooves is less labor intensive and improves better hoof growth.
This chain disc and the grinder disc are effective trimmer attachments for the Hoof Boss Mobile. The chain disc removes hoof material more efficiently and takes less time than a hoof nipper. When trimming hoof flares and chips they are less likely to reappear.However, as in any power tool, to carefully monitor the amount of hoof you are removing while you are trimming. Hoof Boss has videos you can watch.. Also you should be familiar with hoof anatomy. Takes the hard work out of trimming feet!!
If it wasn’t for the Boss Tool range I would not still be capable of trimming horses feet. Their product line is in my opinion the best.

Buy two to keep a new one on hand
I’ve had my original chain disk for a couple of years, doing one or two trims every other month in between farrier visits it lasted but when I took over trimming all my horses now that I have enough experience I’m determined I was not going to sharpen my original chain disk any more and it was time for a new one. You can tell the difference, cut better with less effort. Should have done it sooner.
