Good quality jump starter, at a compact size, at a reasonable price, holds charge well and very functional

Jumping a card has became a process. This one takes the confusion out of performing a jump on a new car with all the electronics. Just hook it up and it tells you when you are ready to start your car. I have only owned it for a short time so unsure about the life of the battery. They recommend you charge it every 3 - 6 months. Unsure what keeping in a cold truck or car will do to the battery life.

I've tried several different brands of jumpstarters for my CTS. And none of them worked to start the car except for this one. This one is the real deal. You can buy with confidence.

Standout Features: • Super easy to use - No messing about with buttons or settings just plug in the cables to the jump box then connect to the battery - a green "Ready" will appear on the screen. Super simple I'm sure anyone without experience with jumping a battery would have no problem using this jump box. • Cables & Clamps - the cables are good 6awg cable with strong clamps. If I were too nit pick it would have been nice to have a jumper lead connecting both sides of the clamp opposed to relying on the construction of the clamp to carry the current to the opposing clamp side. • Protection and Safeties - Are built into the jump box opposed to on the cables this means the cables dont have that large box on them like with so many manufactures - this makes storing the jump box a lot nicer. • Built Quality - The case, screen, connections, port covers etc.... are excellent. Dislikes: - For the physical size the 44Wh capacity is smaller than expected - While I understand with the built-in reverse polarity protection built inside the case opposed to being on the cable lead will make the case larger - I still feel that the capacity is a bit under for the physical size. Value Per Dollar (VPD): (Excellent, Good, Average, Poor) - I rate the VPD at "good" based on the cost compared to similar offerings, quality of the build, and standout features. Recommendations: • For someone who has no experience on jump starting - Its simple & foolproof to use. • For someone looking for a quality jump starter - yes you can find lower cost options but it's been my experience you get what you pay for with these jump starters. If your going to keep a jump starter in your car or truck its nice to know its been safety tested and build well. • Not Recommended for voltage sensitive power sports and vintage motorcycles. The jump starter uses 4 Li-po cells each at 4.3volts at fully charged which is a combined voltage output of 16.8vdc which can be a little over voltage for some rectifiers on vintage motorcycles. My Use Case - Final Thoughts: I have 2 other Hulkman products - the "Sigma 1" battery chargers/maintainers I use on my motorcycles. As well I have recommended them to family, friends, and on MC forums. The quality of Hulkman products in my experience has been great. This jump box is no different great quality. It would be nice to see Hulkman come out with a power sports jump box either in a 3-cell Li-po or better yet a 4-cell LiFePo4 offering - something that can be easily be packed for adventure motorcycle travel. Powerful Performance: The 1500A peak current is incredibly impressive. I've used it on my 7.5L gas engine, and it cranked it over effortlessly even in cold weather. I also like that it works for up to 4.5L diesel engines, so it’s versatile enough for all kinds of vehicles. Whether you're dealing with an SUV, truck, or even a larger engine, this jump starter handles it with ease. 5.7 hemi, cranks it up right away, after using it to test on 3 different vehicles, still had plenty of juice to crank more or use it as external battery pack. Compact & Portable: Despite the raw power it delivers, the Hulkman Alpha Pro is surprisingly compact and lightweight. It's easy to store in my trunk without taking up much space, and I don’t have to worry about it being too bulky or heavy to handle when needed. The Hulkman Alpha pro is a premium quality jump starter pack with a ton of power, premium design, and a convenient LED light. I haven’t had the chance to use the jump starter in action yet, it’s been in my trunk on standby but I feel really confident testing it out and seeing the build quality of the device. From the unboxing experience you can tell this is a nice premium product. Great unboxing experience, comes with some nice extras like a soft storage bag for easily storing the starter in your trunk. The jumper clamps are really heavy duty and built well, easy to plug into the battery pack. Comes with a cool 12V outlet connector to plug into the battery, also works as a backup battery to charge your phone in a pinch which is great. The light on the pack also works great and will be super convenient when connecting to your battery if you are in the dark, great idea. The battery indicator on the front of the unit looks awesome, works well, buttons are responsive, overall the unit is large and hefty so definitely not low profile, meant for larger and more powerful vehicles. This is an outstanding jump starter pack, easy to use and connect, premium design, large capacity, on the pricey side but well worth it to feel safe out on the road if you are driving off the beaten path. Amazing product, I highly recommend it!

I'm impressed with the Hulkman Alpha Pro’s power for its size. This compact, well-built device is great for anyone who needs a reliable jump starter. When I received the jump starter, I had to charge it via USB-C, as the documentation states it charges quickly. When testing this jump starter, it easily revived my gas-powered generator with a dead battery. The 1500A peak current is more than enough for most vehicles. The 3.3" LED display is clear and informative, making it easy to monitor the unit's battery level and select functions. As I am getting older, I find little features like this becoming more important. The unit is also sturdy and should last a long time if treated properly. I really like the Hulkman Alpha Pro but I did find 2 small issues that kept me from giving it 5 stars. The plug cover for the battery clamps was too tight, I had to pry it open with a small screwdriver. I would not recommend trying to open the cover with your fingernails. The second small issue is with charging, the device supports USB-C charging, while the unit charges incredibly fast it is important to note that it doesn't come with a power brick. If you don't already have a compatible charger, you'll need to purchase one separately. The Hulkman Alpha Pro is a fantastic device for anyone who wants a reliable, powerful, and easy-to-use jump starter.
