I loved the Scandi-style Christmas gnomes design to this tablecloth when I saw it, and still really like the pattern in real life… it's just a shame it's such a low quality tablecloth. The fabric this is made from is really, really thin - like gauzy curtains thin, you can see clean through it - which I wasn't expecting. I had initially thought from the crispy feel to the material’s texture that this had been treated to repel water, but spills go straight through. This hasn't been hemmed at all - instead the edges have been scalloped, the pinking style cuts reducing (but not completely stopping) the fabric’s ability to fray.At the £8.99 budget price the lower quality aspects are kind of forgivable - but if I had been buying I would have preferred to pay a bit more for a better made, more durable cloth. Supplied in two layers of plastic packaging: a vacuum sealed bag and a simple plastic packet. Not very sustainable.

This is a thin and lightweight Christmas themed tablecloth decorated with Christmas gonks and presents in reds and white along the long edges. The edges are scalloped with a zig zag (from craft scissors). The main part of the tablecloth is grey with an almost wood grain look to it. This will be ideal for Christmas but given it is thinner and not as good quality as I was ecpecting, I wonder if it will last more than one or two Christmasses of use. Priced £8.99 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, I suppose at this price point it will not matter if it only lasts a few Christmasses.
