EX-Gemini Chorus Pedal

I bought this unit for my bass pedal board. I wanted to spend my money on my bass signal processing and not too much on effects. A good preamp (Ampeg Classic and Tech 21 YYZ) and a good EQ. I also upgraded my compressor to a new Keely compressor pedal. I do love the sound a chorus pedal brings to the bass guitar but I did not want to spend more than $50.00. This pedal is simple, well built and warm sounding for its small size. I’m sure a higher price unit would be more versatile and better sounding, but for my needs this unit is fine. I have to crank up the rate and depth to get a good sound, but it does sound clean and warm. The tone control is responsive and quiet as well.

Perfect sound

Took a chance on this pedal for the price it was advertised at. Was very pleasantly surprised, good construction, good sound. Only draw back is it could be a little more chorusy....if that makes sense!!Really can't go wrong with this!!

I’m very happy with this little chorus pedal. I use it with an acoustic guitar to fatten up the sound a little bit and it works great! I gave it four stars because every once in a while when I click it off or on there’s a loud audible “pop“ through the amp. It is somewhat inconsistent it doesn’t happen that often. Nonetheless I couldn’t give it a perfect score. Overall I’m extremely happy with this pedal and it will stay on my acoustic board for a long time.

Great little pedal for the $$$

This pedal is pretty cool and is a good chorus for the price but it does affect the underlying tone adding what I would describe as a scratchy or "gainey" tone. Played with the knobs but couldn't get it to go away. My amp is a peavey 6505mh and it just didn't sound too great with it so to all the high gain players out there.... go with Boss. You'll be happy.

It sounded great but it had a lot of background noise/buzz. The buzz almost cancels out the sound

Very nice chorus, not so versatile but for those who need a delicate chorus tone (like i do) it's perfect.
