I love these, best splattered guard I’ve opened.

Have not used often yet but seems perfect!

I ordered this item and used it two or three times in about a week and the handle snapped off at the base where it attaches to the circle. I ordered a replacement and when I opened it the handle was already broken in the same exact spot. Decided to buy a similar version that seems to have a more sturdy handle. I like that this is easy to clean but it's not useful if the thing is broken.

A breeze to wash. When you use it you have to be careful what side you hold it on. Even though the handle locks in, one way you hold it--if you squeeze the handle accidentally it folds on you. So if it does that then turn it over. That's the reason for only 4 stars.

Find that because of the silicone, the cover is dense and thus creates a great deal of steam. This can be a problem when wanting to brown and sear. Also, when lifting the cover to check on cooking progress, steam is built up on underside and causes dripping on heating surface. Would be better if holes were larger.

We've had a metal mesh spatter guard for many years; and, frankly, it was getting a little bit gross. I love silicone in the kitchen, and this spatter guard is another great example of this improved version of the old-time reliable things we've had for so often. It blocks the bacon spatters well, and cleans simply with dish soap and a soft sponge. No need for scrubbing and wondering if it's really clean.

Pros: very easy to clean; prevents splatter while on pan; seems to be appropriately heat resistant; stores well; rests on pan wellCons: due to material and ventilation the screen collects large amounts of condensation, which has an effect on food being cooked. i used it while cooking ground beef and it worked very well; it prevented splatter, and the condensation wasn't a huge issue, as it kept the meat moist. However, while frying (food like bacon or anything with larger quantities of oil) the condensation affects the food and when the screen is lifted the moisture drips into the pan creating massive splash. when the water hits the hot oil it creates a huge mess and creates potential for minor injury. with practice, i have been able to minimize this, but it's not ideal.

The handle was broken when I received it. So never had a chance to use it.

It worked well when we first got it but during normal cleaning one of the handles broke off. Also, the oil smell is impossible to wash out. Contacted customer service and they advised that they only do warranty for US customers.

Handle fell, fell off 1st use. Returned for refund. Pity, as it looked like a good splatter screen.

Thought it would perform great because it's silicone. Silicone is so thin it melted after first use. Very disappointed in the performance. Do not recommend. Like the folding handle though.

Very easy to clean fits nicely in the drawer

Have used it a couple of times on my gas stove and no issues with the melting that was mentioned in other review. The folding handle is a great feature. Super easy to clean.
